    Abstract: A false-twist textured yarn composed of a polyamide filament yarn excellent in stretchability and heat durability suitable for sports wear is proposed, which is characterized in that the maximum value F (g) of a shrinkage force under dry heat and a heat treatment temperature T (°C), at which the maximum value F is attained, are defined by the following equations:andwherein D is a titre of the textured yarn represented by denier, and Tm is a melt-breakage temperature of the polyamide filament yarn represented by °C, and that the crimp recovery CR is 15% or more. The textured yarn is preferably produced from a preoriented undrawn polyamide filament under specific false-twist texturing conditions by means of an in-draw texturing machine with a yarn guide (11, 12) for facilitating a threading operation. This guide comprises yarn guide elements (A1 and A2) on a stationary bracket (11), and yarn guide elements (B1 and B2) on a movable bracket (12) which can be swung apart from the stationary bracket (11), as shown in broken lines for threading the yarn (Y) and moved back past the stationary bracket (11) to its operative position in which the yarn (Y) is bent zigzag through a wrapping angle exceeding 300° before entering the primary heater (2).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve water permeability of a filter cloth having high percentage of transfer and high solid/liquid separation performance by nap raising the weft of a woven filter cloth constituted of weft of synthetic fiber crossed to the warp of deformed synthetic fiber filament. CONSTITUTION:Synthetic fiber having >=3X10 cm /g specific surface area is used as the weft of fabric for constituting a filter cloth, and synthetic fiber filament having >=1.5 ratio of the dia. of circumscribed circle/dia. of the inscribed circle of the fiber section is used as the warp. Preferred fineness of the fiber is 1-5d, and preferred sectional shape of the fiber is Y shape or H shape. The fabric is constituted of said weft and warp and the raised synthetic fiber obtd. by nap raising the weft are laid by aligning in approximately one direction. A filtration layer is formed from such piles.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain filter cloth for separating solid from liquid having superior filtration performance and improved durability by bonding a filtration layer part comprising piles of synthetic fiber on the surface of a basic cloth. CONSTITUTION:Piles of extremely fine fiber having >=3X10 cm /g specific surface area obtained by nap raising a basic material comprising fabric, knitted goods, nonwoven fabric, etc., of synthetic fiber are laid on the surface of the basic material aligning the in approximately one direction and a filtration layer is formed by the piles. The filtration layer part is laid on a basic cloth comprising fabric or knitted goods to form one body. Preferred basic cloth is one having higher water permeability and higher wear resistance than the filtration layer part. The filtration layer part and the basic cloth are integrated by interposing a sheet of binder 10 comprising a polymer having lower m.p. than the filtration layer part 1a and the basic cloth 1b between both, heating the integrated body with a calendar roll 11 heated at above the m.p. of the polymer under pressure. Thus, both are bonded by melting the sheet shaped binder 10.
