Abstract: The main objective of the present invention is to provide an electrolyte membrane having good bondability with a catalyst layer, said electrolyte membrane comprising a polymer electrolyte-containing layer (A) and a layer (B) disposed on at least one surface of the layer (A), wherein the layer (B) has a higher porosity (X1) in an interface region thereof with the layer (A) than the porosity (X2) of the layer (B) in an interface region on the opposite side from the layer (A).
