    Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase dust-knocking-off property, to decrease clogging, so as to improve restoration property of a filter, by using two kinds of thermoplastic nonwoven fabric filters of different pore volumes, and by making irregular the surface of one filter which has coarser structure and larger pore volume. CONSTITUTION:A nonwoven fabric filter is composed of rough structural layers 1 of a pore volume 85-98% and dense structural layers 2 of a pore volume 65-85%, and the two layers are combined by means of parts 3. Both layers are made of thermoplastic fiber, e.g., polyester, polyamide, or polyolefin etc. In addn., the surfaces of the rough structural layers 1 are made irregular by forming recesses thereon to make a dense structure having recesses of a pore volume not larger than 65%. Hereby dust layers 4 are made on the surface by preventing the intrusion of the dust inward, so that the dust is simply knocked off. The area occupied by the recesses on the filter surface is pref. 5-60% in consideration of knocking-off property and press. loss.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a filter capable of removing ddposited dusts easily and being hard to be clogged by partly adhering a collecting agent to a surface with coarse fiber density of a nonwoven fabric having a coarse layered structure as a nonwoven fabric filter. CONSTITUTION:A nonwoven fabric having a layered structure with different fiber density of which the surface of the fiber layer is a coarse layer 3 with pore volume of 75-95% is formed as a filter of a electric vacuum cleaner, automobile and the like, thereafter a collecting agent 4 such as polyamide resin, acrylic rubber and the like is partly adhered in dot or line pattern on the surface of a nonwoven fabric. When a fluid such as dusts containing air and the like is passed, dusts are collected on the surface of the fiber layer, particulary, to the collecting agent, and are not almost collected within the fiber interior. Therefore, the clogging of a filter is reduced and the deposited dusts of a filter are easily and simply removed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a very strong filter and increase filter performance, by partly gluing filaments and thereby making the glued part as a dense layer and the unglued part as a coarse layer. CONSTITUTION:Filaments are three-dimensionally glued together by needle-punching filament web 13. Next, folament web 13 and suitable cushion material 14 are pressure-inserted between high-temperature roll 11 and low-temperature roll 12 and thereby filter 15 is formed. That is, the part of filament web 13 in contact with high-temperature roll 11 forms a dense layer of glued filaments and the part in contact with cushion material 14 forms a coarse layer because of low temperature. By this filaments are linked together three-dimensionally. Thus, a very strong filter cloth consisting of a dense layer formed of filaments glued together by themselves or by means of low-melting point filaments and a coarse layer formed of unglued filaments.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:For improving high-performance cleaning efficiency and dust holding characteristic, to capture by means of a provided scale-shaped layer the fine particle dust having passed through a course tissue layer at a high flow velocity. CONSTITUTION:A course tissue bulgy layer 2 with a large porosity is made of 2-dimensionally interconnected pieces of fiber 5. Inflow dust is blocked and captured by said course-tissue layer 2. Thus, the dust holding characteristic therof of an unwoven cloth filter can be improved. Further, a scale-shaped dense layer 1 is provided in which fiber pieces 4 are arranged 2-dimensionally. The fine particle dust having passed through said course-tissue layer 2 is captured by said course- tissue layer 2. Thus, the cleaning efficiency of said unwoven cloth filter can be improved.
