Abstract: Provided are: a coloring material dispersed liquid which has excellent storage stability; and a photosensitive coloring resin composition. This coloring material dispersed liquid exhibits excellent plate-making characteristics when a color film is formed using the photosensitive coloring resin composition. This coloring material dispersed liquid is characterized by containing at least a coloring material, an acrylic copolymer and an organic solvent, and is also characterized in that: the acrylic copolymer comprises at least a structure having an ethylenically unsaturated group in a side chain and represented by formula (A) and a structure having a tertiary amino group in a side chain and represented by formula (B) and/or a structure having a quaternary ammonium salt in a side chain and represented by formula (C), a structure (D) having a carboxyl group in a side chain and a structure (E) having an aromatic ring; and the acrylic copolymer has a base number of 5-70 mmol/100 g, an acid value of 50-120 mgKOH/g and a weight average molecular weight of 5,000-30,000 in terms of polystyrene as determined by gel permeation chromatography.

Abstract: Resin compositions for coatings containing: (A) an acrylic resin having hydroxy and alicyclic epoxy groups in the side chains; (B) an alicyclic epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of from 100 to 1,000; (C) an organoalkoxysilane compound having a glycidyl group and a hydrolyzable alkoxysilane group in a molecule; and (D) an aluminum chelate compound. These compositions are usable as resin compositions for coatings having a high storage stability and good hardening properties at low temperatures (80 °C or below) and imparting excellent weathering characteristics to the coatings, in particular, one-can type resin compositions for coatings and resin compositions for one-can type coatings. In addition, these compositions have well-balanced properties (adhesion, appearance, weatherability, chemical resistance, solvent resistance, etc.) needed as resin compositions for coatings.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition having good storage stability and excellent in curability at a low temperature and weatherability by compounding an acrylic resin containing a hydroxyl group and an alicyclic epoxy group, an alicyclic epoxy resin, a glycidyl group-containing organoalkoxysilane compound, an aluminum chelate compound and the like. SOLUTION: There are compounded an acrylic resin (A) containing a hydroxyl group and an alicyclic epoxy group in a side chain, an alicyclic epoxy resin (B) having an epoxy equivalent of 100-1,000, an organoalkoxysilane compound (C) containing a glycidyl group and a hydrolyzable alkoxysilane group in one molecule, an aluminum chelate compound (D) and a compound (E) to function as a soft segment after the formation of a coated film. The preferable compounding ratios by weight are A/B=60/40-99/1, (A+B)/C=50/50-95/5, (A+B+C)/D=100/0.5-100/10 and A/E=40/60-98/2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a primer composition capable of providing good bonding strength, salt water resistance and water resistance by formulating an organoalkoxysilane compound having a glycidyl group and a hydrolyzable alkoxysilane group with water and a hydrophilic organic solvent in a specified ratio so as to form a composition having a specified or smaller angle of contact with the surface of aluminum. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. organoalkoxysilane compound (A) having a glycidyl group and a hydrolyzable alkoxysilane group with 0.5-20 pts.wt. water (B), and 1-200 pts.wt. hydrophilic organic solvent (C) so as to form a composition having an angle of contact of at most 50 deg. with the surface of aluminum. Component A is desirably 3- glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, 3-glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane, 3- glycidoxypropylmethyldimethoxysilane, or 3-glycidoxypropylmethyldiethoxysilane. Component B is desirably ion-exchanged water having an electric conductivity of 500 μs/cm or below at 25 deg.C.
