    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the reduction of shear breakage of fiber in kneading, the compounding of fiber at a high concentration and the maintenance of heat- resistance and mechanical properties of resultant composition, by cutting aromatic polyamide fibers bonded with each other using a specific amount of a heat-resistant resin and compounding the fiber to a heat-resistant resin. CONSTITUTION:10-130pts.(wt.) preferably 15-100pts. of an aromatic polyamide fiber is bonded with (A) 100pts.(wt.) of a heat-resistant resin selected from polyarylate, polysulfone, polyether sulfone, polyether imide, polyether ether ketone, polyphenylene sulfide and polyamide imide and (B) 1-25wt%, preferably 1-10wt% heat-resistant resin selected from the group A and soluble in an organic solvent. The bonded fiber is cut to 0.5-12mm, preferably 1-6mm length and kneaded under melting. The fiber of the component B keeps the shape of pellet without forming a cotton-like lump. It can be easily mixed even at a high concentration and uniformly dispersed by kneading under melting.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which has excellent electrical conductivity, antistatic properties and moldability and little causes lowering in mechanical strength, consisting of two specified kinds of polyphenylene sulfide resins and electrically conductive carbon black. CONSTITUTION:4-45pts.wt. electrically conductive carbon black (a) having DBP oil absorption of 400-750ml/100g and contg. 200ppm or below of Ni and V in total is dispersed in 100pts.wt. polyphenylene ether resin (b) having a melt flow rate of 2.5-10kg/10min as measured at 315 deg.C under a load of 5kg with a melt indexer according to ASTM-D1238-70T to obtain a resin compsn. (A). The component A is dry-blended with a polyphenylene sulfide resin (B) having a melt flow rate of 10-1,500g/10min measured under the same conditions as those described above in a weight ratio of A/B of 0.1-4 and the blend is kneaded.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare a thermoplastic resin composition having improved moldability, impact strength, paintability, etc., by adding a higher fatty acid amide, a polyhydric alcohol ester of a fatty acid, and an organic phosphite to a rubber-modified high-impact resin. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin composition composed of a rubber-modified high-impact resin containing 6-60 wt% of rubber, and (A) 0.1-3.0 wt% of a higher fatty acid amide of formula I or II [R1-3 are 8-18C alkyl; R' is H, oxymethyl; R'' is-(CH2)n-; n is 1-2], (B) 0.5-5.0 wt% of a polyhydric alcohol ester of 11-26C higher fatty acid or higher oxyfatty acid, and (C) 0.03-1.0 wt% of an organic phosphorous acid ester of formula III (R1-3 are 1-20C alkyl, alkylaryl, cycloalkyl, allyl). The weight ratios of (A)/(B) and (A)+(B)/(C) are 0.1-6 and 1-100, respectively.
