Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin polyester film which is suitable for an application in which heat treatment is applied during a processing or when it is used. SOLUTION: In the thin biaxially oriented polyester film 0.5-50 μm in thickness, a load change coefficient in a thermal dimensional change in the longitudinal direction at 150 deg.C is 0.3×10 or less, a heat shrinkage percentage in the longitudinal direction at 150 deg.C is 5% or less, and a heat shrinkage percentage in the transverse direction at 150 deg.C is 1.5% or less.
