    Abstract: A polyester composition, comprising a thermoplastic polyester resin and hydroxy apatite particles with an average particle diameter of 0.01 to 10 mu m and a specific surface area of 50 to 500 m /g and represented by the following chemical formula, and a film made thereof. A polyester film excellent in such basic properties as slipperiness and abrasion resistance, and also in electric properties, perforability, processability as a laminate with a metallic sheet, flavor properties, etc. can be obtained.     Abstract: A biaxially oriented polypropylene film which is excellent in heat resistance and long-term breakdown resistance at high temperature, little suffers from insulation defect, and has an advantage in that when pieces of the film are immersed in an insulating oil, the oil can well penetrate in between the pieces and the pieces are little swollen with the oil; and a capacitor made by using the film as the dielectric and excellent in heat resistance, breakdown resistance, corona resistance, long-term serviceability at high temperature, and current resistance. The film is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film characterized in that the isotacticity, isotactic pentad fraction and ash content are 98 to 99.5 %, 99 % or above and 30 ppm or below, respectively, and that the center-line average roughness of each surface is 0.01 to 0.4 .mu.m.

    Abstract: En vista de los problema anteriores de la materia, es un objeto de la presente invención proporcionar una película de poliéster blanca la cual logra una alta capacidad de reflexión y una alta propiedad de escondite simultáneamente, y difícilmente ocasiona un rompimiento de película y tiene una alta productividad. Este objeto pude lograrse por una película de poliéster blanca conteniendo vacíos en la misma, donde una resina que constituye la película tiene una capa formada mediante usar una resina de poliéster y una resina co-polimerizada de olefina cíclica, y donde una relación de los vacíos en una sección transversal de la capa es más de 25% y 75% o menos y el tamaño de partículas promedio en número de la resina co-polimerizada de olefina cíclica en la película es 0.1 um o mas 3 um o menos.

    Abstract: A polyester composition comprising a thermoplastic polyester resin and particles of a hydroxyapatite represented by the following chemical formula: Ca(PO4)1(OH)m(CO3)nYx ¢wherein Y represents any anion other than phosphate, hydroxy, and carbonate groups; 1 is 0.4 to 0.6; m is 0.1 to 0.4; n is 0 to 0.2; x is 0 to 0.2; and 3X1+m+2Xn+zXx=2 (z being the valence of the anion Y)! and having an average particle diameter of 0.01 to 10 .mu.m and a specific surface area of 50 to 500 m2/g. This composition can give a polyester film which is excellent not only in basic properties including slip properties and wearing resistance but in electrical properties, punchability, processability in metal laminate production, flavor preservation, etc.
