    Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize the support of a film uniformly with a proper degree of freedom and to prevent pillow effect in order to realize the accuracy of the mirror finished surface with high precision. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a support member 1 provided with a mount 1a in which 1st-3rd projections 2a-2c are formed to apex positions of nearly a triangle form, and a flexible conductor film 11 is mounted to the mount 1a while the 1st-3rd projections 2a-2c are inserted into the flexible conductor film 11, a non-conductive wire member 3 is wound to the tip of the 1st-3rd projections 2a-2c, then a retainer member 4 is fitted to the mount 1a via the flexible conductor film 11 and the wire member 3, the flexible conductor film 11 and the wire member 3 are inserted and they are in contact in 2-dimensions to attain the desired object.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To uniformly disperse fine oxide grains into a mother metal by oxidizing an alloy of which elements for the formation of oxide grains having the oxide-forming free energy smaller than that of the mother metal enters a solid solution into the mother metal and thereafter selectively reducing the mother alloy only. CONSTITUTION:Elements for the formation of oxide grains having the oxide- forming free energy smaller than that of a mother metal enter a solid solution into the mother alloy. The alloy is oxidized in an oxidizing atmosphere and is converted into perfect oxides. The oxides are reduced in a reducing atmosphere where the elements to be added are not reduced into metal and only the oxide of the mother metal is selectively converted into metal. Then, fine oxide grains are uniformly dispersed into the mother metal, by which the strength of the alloy is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress rise of the temperature even in the case that a reflex surface receives intense light irradiation by setting the reflection factor in the visible light region and the emissivity in the infrared region to the respective specific values in the surface area other than the reflex surface. CONSTITUTION:The whole or a part of the surface other than the reflex surface to reflect light is formed from a substance in the condition that the reflection factor in the visible light region with wavelength 0.4-0.7mum is over 0.7 and that the emissivity in the infrared region with wavelength 3-10mum is over 0.7. An example of the substance having such a characteristics of emissivity is preferably ceramic, and Al2O3, MgO, or SiO2 or any composite oxide consisting of two or more of these, which satisfies this heat radiation characteristic, and is suitable as a substance to constitute a surface. Thereby, the mirror is obtained in which temp. rise is slight even when it is exposed to strong light as well as solar radiation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily and economically manufacture the title composite material having no deterioration by pressurizing and impregnating an aluminum alloy as the matrix into a spare molded body having carbon fiber in which an alumina covered layer is formed thereon as the fibrous skeleton. CONSTITUTION:The carbon fiber having about 10mum average diameter and about 3,000mum average length is immersed in an alumina sol, is thereafter dispersed and dried in the air. By this method, the alumina covered layer having several mum thickness is applied to the surface of the carbon fiber. The carbon fiber having said alumina covered layer is regulated to the fibrous skelton to produce the spare molded body having about 30vol.% ratio. Said spare molded body 1 is set into a mold 2. The whole is then heated to about 500-700 deg.C and the molten aluminum alloy matrix 4 is poured into the mold 2. The matrix 4 is directly pressurized by a piston 5 and is impregnated into the spare molded body 1 to form a composite part 6. The piston 5 is furthermore pushed down to spread the composite body 6 into the whole of the spare molded body 1. By this method, the title composite material is formed without destroying the spare molded body 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce temperature rising even when intense light is irradiated by constituting the surface other than a reflecting surface with a substance having high emissivity in the infrared ray region. CONSTITUTION: Light of a carbon arc lamp 11 is converged with a lens 10 and irradiated to the reflecting surface of a molybdenum plate 6 within a vacuum bath 2. The whole or part of the surface other than the reflecting surface of the molybdenum plate 6 is kept in the state that the emissivity in the infrared ray region having a wave length of 3-10 μm is 0.7 or more. As the substance enhancing heat radiation in the part other than the reflecting surface, CrO3 , MgO, ZrO2 , CaO, TiO2 , Al2 O3 , or the composite oxide of them is used, and the surface is roughened by the sandblast treatment.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve grindability and lapping ability, prevent loading and falling of grits, and further maintain a sufficient self-lubricating ability by specifying the carbon-content in an iron-base alloy forming a matrix at above 2.5% and below 4.5wt.%. CONSTITUTION:A Fe-Si alloy powder (average particle size below one-thirds of that of iron powder) containing 10-50wt.% Si as a raw material, a graphite powder and an iron powder (average particle size below one-thirds of that of grit) are blended so that the carbon-content in an iron-base alloy is above 2.5% and below 4.5wt.%, and then sintered. And a grit-layer is formed by a sintered body made of the iron-base alloy and grits, and the particle size of carbon deposits is specified below 5mum. By thus specifying the weight percentage of carbon, falling of the deposits is restricted, loading of the grit-layer and falling of grits are prevented, and a sufficient self-lubricating ability is maintained. As a result, the number of dressings can be remarkably reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent unfavorable chemical reactions at the interface between SiC whisker and high temp. immersed Al and to make a composite material having high strength, excellent heat resistance and chemical stability, by covering whisker surface with an alumina, making premolded body of the coated whisker and then immersing Al alloy containing Mg. CONSTITUTION:The SiC whisker having 0.5mum average diameter and 50mum average length is immersed in an alumina sol to form the alumina covered layer on the surface of the SiC whisker. Said alumina covered SiC whisker is dispersed into an organic solvent and the organic solvent is thereafter subjected to pressure filtration. The resulting SiC whisker is compressed and dried to form the premolded body of the whisker. Said premolded body is set into a mold to preheat to 500 deg.C and the molten metal of the Al alloy is poured into the mold to execute pressure casting to the compound at the pressure ratio of about 1,000kg/cm . The uniform Al alloy composite material having the high strength can be thereby obtd.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a waveguide with light weight without local expansion or exfoliation of a conductor layer by forming a metallic die with electric plating of the conductor layer after applying alumite processing to th surface of aluminum or aluminum alloy, laminating and hardening a prepleg sheet made of a fiber reinforced plastic and solving aud removing the metallic die by an acid or alkali. CONSTITUTION:After both end faces of an aluminum rectangular pipe 1 are sealed by an epoxy group resin, alumite processing 2 is applied to the outer surface and then chemical plating by Cu and electroplating by Ag are applied to form a conductor layer 3, and an adhesive sheet made of an epoxy regin is wrapped on the layer to form a metallic die. A high elastic carbon fiber cloth prepleg sheet 4 is wrapped as a tape on the metallic die, formed by the vacuum pack forming and the aluminum of the metallic die is solved and removed by a solution of 10% NaOH except the sealing member of both end faces. Thus, the die removal between the conductor coating layer and the metallic die transferred and formed on the inner surface is facilitated to avoid the production of expansion or exfoliation.
