PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the same information can not be transmitted to proximate information equipment without previously knowing the address of the party. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a present terminal identification information setting means for setting present terminal identification information for identifying a present communication terminal, means for holding the present terminal identification information, means for acquiring the present terminal identification information from the means, in which the present terminal identification information is held, and transmitting the information as the presence information of the present terminal, presence information receiving means for receiving the presence information from the other communication terminal, and present terminal identification information change means for deciding whether or not the present terminal identification information is to be changed when the received presence information is matched with the present terminal identification information, and changing the information as needed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the same information can not be transmitted to an adjoining information device if the address of the opposite party is not known beforehand. SOLUTION: This communication controller consists of an address information receiving means for receiving destination information showing that a certain destination exists and attributes of the destination, a destination information storing means for storing destination information included in the received destination information, a destination selecting means for selecting one or a plurality of destinations from the received destination information, an information receiving means for receiving information transmitted to the selected destinations, an information transmitting means for transmitting the information to the selected destinations, a destination generating means for generating a new destination, and a destination transmitting means for transmitting the destination information.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication apparatus by which name card information is automatically exchanged, the information is displayed on a display device and a user needs no operation for exchanging the name card information. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus comprises a name card information storage section 1, a name card information display section 2, a name card information reception section 3, a name card information transmission section 4, a communication apparatus detection section 5, a network transmission reception section 6, a storage device 7, a display device 8, and a mouse 9. Since the name card information is automatically exchanged when the communication apparatus detection section 5 finds out a communication available apparatus, it is not required to trouble a user. Since the name card information is displayed, it is easily understood more than the display of an address and the name of other communication available apparatus and communication is easily started with a desired opposite party.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send information to a designated terminal equipment by periodically communication terminal equipment identification information so as to allow each terminal equipment to definitely and uniquely set an identifier. SOLUTION: A terminal equipment identification information reception section 118 receives terminal equipment identification information having information of terminal identifier of other terminal equipment from one or plural terminal equipments. An own terminal equipment identifier setting section 115 sets a terminal identifier not the same as a terminal identifier of other terminal equipment obtained from all terminal equipment identification information received from the terminal equipment identification information reception section 118 as its own terminal identifier. Then a terminal equipment identification information transmission section 112 sends its own terminal identifier set by the own terminal equipment identifier setting section 115 as terminal equipment identification information. Thus, a terminal equipment going to set a new terminal identifier allocates a terminal identifier not in use as its own terminal identifier.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device which mediates between an information appliance and users so that the user can know the state of the information appliance easily by operating simply various information appliances. SOLUTION: The interface device includes a register section 14 which associates a status signal and a reaction signal and registers to an accumulation section 15, a first verify section 16 which verifies a reaction signal of an accumulation section and the reaction signal from the reaction acquiring section, and a second verify section 17 which collates the reaction signal of the accumulation section and a reaction signal from the reaction acquisition section. When other status signals are acquired, the other status signals and the status signal of the accumulation section are collated. When it matches, the reaction signal related with the status signal is expressed to a user. When it does not match, other status signals are expressed to the user. At this time, the reaction signal from the user is associated with the other status signals, and is registered. When the other reaction signals are acquired, the second verify section collates the other reaction signals and reaction signal of the accumulation section. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transmission apparatus that can realize flexible and efficient multicast communication in the case of making broadcast communication when recognizing a logical device address of its own apparatus and logical device addresses of all device groups with which the packet transmission apparatus can make communication. SOLUTION: The packet transmission apparatus comprises: a means for calculating and specifying an address of a transmission destination; a means for storing addresses of other logic devices; an address storage means for storing a group name and a device name representing a set of multicast communication; a means for providing a transmission destination address to a packet as a packet header; a means for discriminating whether or not the address of the received packet is addressed to its own apparatus; and a means for conducting transmission/reception.

PURPOSE:To structure a network while actual operation conditions are reflected and to improve the communication efficiency by limiting a device group which can make a communication on the basis of device information based upon its device and information that its device collects. CONSTITUTION:A concerned device information management part 11 discriminates another device judging from the device name included in the received information of the other device, and manages and stores the device information by device names. The information on its own device is registered by the device itself. A collected information management part 12 updates the collected information which is managed and stored by itself with the received information on the communication device, and manages and stores it. A communication opposite party limiting part 13 limits communication devices which can communicate with its own communication device on the basis of the device information and collected information stored in its own device information management part 11 and collected information management part 12 respectively each time the collected information in the collected information management part 12 is updated, stores their list as device limitation information, and distributes it to other devices.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a transmission cell by allowing a contention control means to output an output enable cell when an input cell does not keep a predetermined traffic characteristic and the output enable cell is stored in a violation cell storage means. CONSTITUTION:When a cell reaches a policing controller 11, a contention control section 13 receives a signal from the controller 11 and checks whether or not a cell of the same information sender as the arrived cell is in existence in a violation cell storage section 12 and aborts a relevant cell in the storage section 12 when in existence. When the arrived cell keeps the specified traffic characteristic, the arrived cell is outputted to a network. When not, the arrived cell is sent to the storage section 12. When the specified value is not satisfied or no cell reaches the controller 11, and when an output enable cell in the storage section 12 is in existence, the control section 13 outputs an oldest cell to the network and when no output enable cell is in existence, an idle cell is outputted to the network. As a result, number of violation cells is reduced and the quality of the cell is improved.
