PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of an aligner and a fluorescent screen in which a fluorescent screen, that prevents irregular reflection in the aligner and has a pattern of desired size, can be formed and in which occurrence of display defects in the color cathode-ray tube can be prevented. SOLUTION: The device comprises a support table 40 which supports a panel 1 that is installed with a shadow mask 4 opposed to the photosensitive material 21, a light source 41 that irradiates a light for printing a pattern corresponding to the opening of the shadow mask 4 on the photosensitive material 21 applied on the inner wall of the panel 1 that is supported on the support table 40, optical members 43, 44 45 that give prescribed optical characteristics on the light radiated from the light source 41, and an irregular-reflection preventing member 51 that restricts the irradiation range of the light radiated from the light source 41 within the effective region 1b of the panel 1 and absorbs the reflection light reflected toward the light source 41 side. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent collecting of a developer and uneven development, which occurs if the developer is sprayed as a faceplate is rotated, by spraying a horizontally installed faceplate surface from nozzles pointed upward, while oscillating the nozzles. SOLUTION: A faceplate 1 is placed almost horizontally with its inner surface pointed down, and as a plurality of nozzles 21 placed below the faceplate 1 are oscillated, a developer 22 is discharged upward from the nozzles 21 for development. This method can provide a uniform developer thickness over the entire area of the inner surface of the faceplate and make development time uniform per unit area, so it can prevent uneven development.

PURPOSE: To prevent a color mixture while manufacturing a filter pattern with a simple process as compared with the conventional process by reforming a method of forming a pigment layer. CONSTITUTION: A filter pattern is manufactured by a process as follows. (1) After a solution containing the first pigment particle 3 (blue color) is applied to be dried on a substrate 1, a photoresist liquid is applied to be dried on this solution, to form a laminated structure of a resist layer 4 and a pigment layer 3. (2) This laminated structure is hardened by an exposure 5 into a prescribed pattern, thereafter developed to form a laminated pattern (3-4). (3) The processes 1 and 2 are repeated relating also to the other first pigment particle 6 (green color), to form a laminated pattern (6-7; 7 resist layer). (4) A solution containing the second pigment particle 8 (red color) is applied to be dried on the substrate 1 and a laminated pattern (3-4 and 6-7), thereafter to apply a release agent, and by releasing the resist layers 4, 7 with the second pigment layer 8 on there layers 4, 7, the first (3, 6) and the second (8) pigment layers are formed.

PURPOSE:To provide a magnetoresistive effect device exhibiting a greater magnetoresistive effect even with the reduced number of laminates, and demonstrating a reduced saturated magnetic field and reduced hysteresis and Barkhausen noise. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetoresistive device including a laminate film 1 exhibiting a magnetoresistive effect by laminating magnetic layers 3a, 3b, 3c through a non-magnetic layer 4, the magnetic layer 3b is ferromagnetically coupled with the one adjacent magnetic layer 3a or 3c through the non-magnetic layer 4, and the magnetic layer 3b is antiferromagnetically coupled with the other adjacent magnetic layer 3a or 3c through the non-magnetic layer 4. Magnetization of the magnetic layers 3a, 3c is directed in the same direction in a film plane.

PURPOSE:To easily form a thin film of good quality with no defect in a face external surface by mounting an orientation plate on an upper part side wall of an air suction hole in a body of equipment of a thin film forming device, and providing a diffusion plate in an upper part of an exhaust port in the body of equipment. CONSTITUTION:In a thin film forming device, an orientation plate 19 is mounted on an internal side wall of a body of equipment 12 in the upper part of an air suction port 10, and a diffusion plate 20 is provided so as to cover an exhaust port 11 in a bottom part of the body of equipment 12. When thus constituted, air is sucked from the air suction hole 10, to prevent a flow of air in a direction of a cathode-ray tube generated by rotating the cathode-ray tube 14 and its supporter 13, by the orientation plate 19, further to average the flow by the diffusion plate 20, and by discharging from the exhaust port 11, air in the body of equipment is discharged in the downward direction. As a result, sticking dust to the external surface of a face 1 of the cathode-ray tube 14 can be markedly reduced.

PURPOSE:To prevent color purity and breakdown voltage from deteriorating in a screen peripheral part. CONSTITUTION:A photoabsorbing layer 11, setting a part of forming a phosphor layer to a cavity part 24, is formed in the internal surface of a panel 1 having a skirt part in a peripheral part, to apply phosphor slurry 27 to the internal surface of the panel formed with this photoabsorbing layer, and the phosphor layers 10B, 10G, 10R are formed in the cavity part by a photoprinting method. After forming the photoabsorbing layer, a water repellent substance is applied to an internal surface of the skirt part before applying the phosphor slurry.

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of dust in the cartridge and to prevent a dropout by attracting a hub to an upper jacket side with a permanent magnet normally and chucking the disk with a magnet bigger than the permanent magnet during use. CONSTITUTION:A hub 43 is attracted to the magnetic disk holding surface side of an upper jacket 11 by a pemanent magnet 19 normally. Thus, even when a slight vibration is given to the magnetic disk cartridge, its contact with a pair of upper and lower jackets 11 and 12 of the hub 43 is prevented and the generations of foreign matters such as dust in the cartridge are prevented, as well. Also, when the cartridge is used, it is used by chucking a magnetic disk 41 to an FDD by a magnet for chucking FDDs having magnetic forces bigger than the permanent magnet 19. Thus, a high reliability is obtained without the internal generation of dust and the generation of errors of the dropout, etc.

PURPOSE:To check the deterioration of white uniformity by forming an electron beam aperture of a specified size in a work for shadow mask consisting of a metal layer having a relatively large etching speed and a metal layer with relatively low speed. CONSTITUTION:A shadow mask of a color image receiving tube is formed from a composite metal plate 22 of two-phase structure, i.e., that surface of shadow mask on the screen side consists of a low carbon steel layer 20 while the other surface on the electron gun side consists of an iron-nickel alloy layer 21. This composite metal plate 22 is provided with a number of circular electron beam apertures of a specified size in a certain arrangement. The opening area of each aperture 23 on one side is made greater than its opening on the other side, which assumes a minor shape 24 to control the spot shape of the election beam. The work for shadow mask is of two-layer metal structure having different etching speed, and the metal layer having a greater etching speed is used on the first named side while the metal layer with low speed is used on the later named side. This eliminates the deterioration of white uniformity deriving from the shape of the aperture 23.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent screen with high luminance in a high resolution color cathode-ray tube having resolution enhanced by narrowing an interval between phosphor dots or stripes. SOLUTION: A phosphor particle having a sharp particle diameter distribution in which a frequency of the particle diameter within a range of the most frequent particle diameter of 1 μm is not less than 30 volume % of the total, is used. Also, the thickness of a phosphor layer formed on the inner surface of a panel is made to be 2-4 times thicker than an average particle diameter of the phosphor particle. In addition, the average thickness of the phosphor particle is set for 4-8 μm.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent external leakage of an electromagnetic wave, and provide a clear image having high contrast by connecting a conductive member to a conductive layer by being exposed from a covering layer in a conductive reflection preventive film having the covering layer on the conductive layer. SOLUTION: After forming a conductive layer 9 containing particulates of Ag and an Ag alloy on the outside surface of a panel 1 composed of glass, a covering layer 10 mainly composed of SiO 2 is formed and baked. Afterwards, the covering layer 10 is penetrated, and is electrically continued with the conductive layer 9 by a conductive member 8 composed of solder, and the conductive member 8 is taken out to the front so as to be exposed from the covering layer 10 to contact an electrolytic solution 11 with the conductive member 8. Since a state of metal contained in the conductive layer 9 is controlled thereby, a manufacturing method of a conductive reflection preventive film having high electric conductivity and excellent in light transmissivity is obtained. The electrolytic solution desirably contains at least a single ion selected from a group composed of K + , Ba 2+ , Ca 2+ , Na + , Mn 2+ , Zn 2+ , Cr 3+ , Fe 2+ and Cu 2+ . COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
