    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode-ray tube capable of controlling a fluctuation of an electrode current even in a thermal expansion of a wire. SOLUTION: The color cathode-ray tube is composed of the following components; a panel equipped inside with a phosphor screen, an envelope comprising a funnel connected to the panel and a neck portion 300, three cathodes KR heated by a heater HR housed in the neck portion 300 at a terminal of the funnel, and plural numbers of electrodes 10 and 20 arranged in a sequence, and an electron gun fixing and supporting the electrodes 10, 20 with an insulating support and a circular portion fused to the neck portion 300 are provided. The electrodes 10 and 20 are fixed through an insulating support, a supporting electron gun and a circular portion fused to the neck portion 300. Moreover, a stem portion 500 equipped with a stem pin 100 that along with holding the electron gun, gives an electric conductivity of each electrode of the electron gun with the exterior of the tube, and a wire 11 that gives the electric conductivity between both terminals connected with the stem pin 100 and at least one electrode of the electron gun. The wire 11 is provided with a bending portion 12 to buffer a thermal expansion caused by the heat from the heater HR.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it easy to pull a spacer out of an assembled electron gun and prevent a grid from being damaged. CONSTITUTION:After a plurality of grids G6-G1 and cathode supporting bodies Ka, Kb, Kc are set in an electron gun assembling jig through spacers 5a-5f, respectively, the implanted parts of the grids and the cathode supporting bodies are fixed integrally in an insulating support body 6, which is softened by heating, by implanting them in the support body 6. A plurality of the grids and cathode supporting bodies set in the electron gun assembling jig are heated to the set temperature higher than normal temperature and the grids and the cathode supporting bodies heated to the set temperature are implanted in the insulating support body.
