    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow a water supply pressure controller to perform control with constant response characteristics by calculating the dynamic characteristic value of a controlled system from the flow rate of water, supply, the rotating speed of a conveying pump, and the number of sets in operation. CONSTITUTION:The water from a clear water reservoir 1 is supplied to a water reservoir 3 through a water supply tube 2 by a variable speed pump 11a and a constant speed pump 11b. An input device 31 inputs the outputs of a water level detector 21, a water supply flow rate detector 23, and a water supply pressure detector 24 and further inputs a signal 43 for the number of sets in operation and a rotating speed signal 44. An arithmetic controller 32 performs control arithmetic based upon the inputs and outputs a control command 41 for the number of sets in operation and a control command 42 for the rotating speed through an output device 33, and a controller 34 for the number of sets in operation and a controller 35 for the rotating speed of the variable speed pump supply operation signals to the pump to perform water supply pressure control with high reliability in a constant control response time.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a variation in conveying pressure restrainable to the irreducible minimum, by performing the revolving speed ontrol of a conveying pump started anew by means of pump number control in a way of adjusting the opening of a discharge valve for a period of time till the pump discharge valve becomes full open. CONSTITUTION:Each detectin output out of a level detector 21, a conveying flow detector 23 and a conveying pressure detector 24 is inputted into an input unit 31, then further taken into an operational controller 32, and a command out of this operational controller 32 is transmitted to a conveying pump operation number controller 34 and a variable speed pump revolving speed controller 35 through an output unit 33, therefore both these controllers 34 and 35, as a controlled system, gives an operating signal to each of pumps 11a-11c, thus control takes palce. As for a variable speed pump given additional operation by this operating signal, a revolving speed of the variable speed pump to be given the additional operation is controlled in accordance with the said valve opening. Accordingly, even in the case where these conveying pumps 11a-11c are added, these conveying pumps 11a, 11b and 11c are controlled whereby conveying pressure is thus controllable in a proper manner.
