Abstract: PURPOSE:To precipitate and collect the crystals of alpha-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester from a solution of alpha-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester. CONSTITUTION:alpha-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester solution is brought into direct contact with ice to cool the solution whereby the peptide can be crystallized out. The crystals has excellent filtrability, large size, high hardness and high purity.
