    Abstract: An LED display device having an LED array for a meter on a printed circuit board. A diffusing radiation lens array is disposed facing the LED array. A cover lens is overlapped on the lens array. The cover lens transmits LED light which passed through the lens array. The cover lens has at least a scale mark, a character and a sign. A sheet is interposed between the lens array and the cover lens. The sheet limits radiation of predetermined diffused light from the lens array while partially transmitting the diffused light. The cover lens has a scale mark dent and a character dent formed on its rear interior surface, and displays the scale mark and character by means of an LED light from another LED array.

    Abstract: A process for producing a rubber extruded article comprising a main body made of EPDM, by finishing the surface of the article with a cloth-like surface, by attaching cloth to a designated surface of the rubber substrate, said process comprising forming the main body of an extruded article by extrusion while forming a first adhesive layer comprising a blended rubber composed of 40 to 80% by weight of NBR, 20 to 60% by weight of EPDM and 0 to 35% by weight of SBR, or a composition of the blended rubber on the designated surface of the rubber substrate, subjecting the main body of the extruded article to a vulcanization step, and then pressure-bonding a long, narrow strip of cloth lined with a second adhesive layer of a thermoplastic resin to the first adhesive layer, and fusing the second adhesive layer together with the first adhesive layer by heating to cause the complete union of the strip of cloth to the rubber extruded article.

    Abstract: A wiper blade rubber is disclosed The wiper blade rubber comprises a matrix formed of rubber made preponderantly of EPDM and vulcanized with a peroxide and a lip part having the portions thereof for sliding contact with the outer surface of a wind shield formed of chlorinated diene type rubber. The lip part has the opposite lateral sides in the direction of thickness of the leading end thereof formed of diene type rubber containing a chlorinated layer on the surface thereof, with the matrix exposed to sight at the leading edge of the lip part between the opposite lateral sides of diene type rubber. The diene type rubber in each of the opposite lateral sides has the outer surface thereof chlorinated.

    Abstract: An information indicating device having an LED and a light transmitting structure is disposed within a line of sight of a vehicle operator so as to transmit light from the LED to the vehicle while the operator is driving the vehicle. A distance sensor measures a distance between a vehicle body and an object near it. An emission control circuit controls the LED based on an output of the distance sensor, thereby indicating predetermined information, such as a distance warning to the operator. An indicating portion is disposed on an end of a corner pole or a fender marker to receive light from the LED and transmit light to the vehicle operator without requiring the vehicle operator to substantially look away from the direction the vehicle is traveling or a mirror showing the driver the vehicle's traveling direction.
