Abstract: A mesh network system includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit selects determines a current motion state of a vehicle of a mesh network. The electronic control unit may calculates radio metric scores for network interfaces. The radio metric scores are weighted based on the current motion. The electronic control unit selects a desired network interface for communications between the vehicles based on the radio metric scores.

The standard vehicle includes one or more sensors configured to detect telematics data, a memory configured to store a blockchain associated with the standard vehicle, an electronic control unit (ECU) configured to update the blockchain associated with the standard vehicle with the detected telematics data, and a transceiver configured to communicate the blockchain to one or more other vehicles. The system also includes a collection vehicle. The collection vehicle includes a transceiver configured to receive the blockchain from the standard vehicle, and communicate the blockchain from the standard vehicle to a network to update a distributed record of the blockchain associated with the standard vehicle.

Abstract: Methods and systems for improving vehicle paint of a vehicle in a particular geographic region. The system includes a paint sensor located on an exterior of the vehicle and configured to detect paint data of the vehicle. The system also includes an ambient light sensor configured to detect ambient light data when the paint sensor detects the paint data. The system also includes a vehicle transceiver configured to communicate the paint data and the ambient light data. The system also includes a remote data server configured to receive the paint data and the ambient light data from the vehicle and determine an improved paint formulation or an improved painting process based on the paint data and the ambient light data.

Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein optimize radio metrics between nodes within a mesh network by waking up nodes not actively connected to a mesh network. A mesh network system includes a computing device configured to determine that a radio metric between a first node and a second node in a mesh network is above a predetermined threshold, identify a third node operating in sleep mode, when the radio metric is above the predetermined threshold, and cause the third node to wake and connect to the mesh network, the third node is configured to relay communication between the first node and the second node.
