Abstract: A polymer composition that comprises a polyarylene sulfide, inorganic fibers, an impact modifier that includes an epoxy-functionalized copolymer, and an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent weight of from about 250 to about 1,500 grams per gram equivalent is provided. The inorganic fibers having an aspect ratio of from about 1.5 to about 10, the aspect ratio being defined as the cross-sectional width of the fibers divided by the cross-sectional thickness of the fibers.
