    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the attaching method of a case onto a dielectric filter in which the attaching work is simplified and excellent coupling is easily realized. CONSTITUTION:Cream solder 18 in a non-fluid state is placed in a groove 12 extending up to the outer face of a block side between openings of throughholes 4A, 4B on the upper side of a dielectric block 2, a metallic case 20 whose inner side is formed with a recessed streak 22 is fitted to the dielectric block 2 so as to hold outer faces of both sides therebetween, the solder is molten by heat treatment, a part of the molten solder 18' is intruded between the outer face of the side of the dielectric block 2 and the metallic case 20 from both ends of the groove 12 and cured by cooling the case.

CONSTITUTION:The coaxial dielectric resonators 1A, 1B,... constituting a dielectric filter have the resonance frequencies in the necessary frequency area and ground the external conductors 3 through the necessary capacitance so that the pass area of the dielectric filter is decided with the resonance frequency as an attenuation value.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize the dielectric high pass filter whose attenuation region is decided to be a resonance frequency of a dielectric resonator by connecting an inductance including positively a floating capacitance of an outer conductor of the coaxial dielectric resonator to ground when the coaxial dielectric resonator is employed to adjust the characteristic obtaining the attenuation characteristic at a desired cut-off frequency thereby adjusting definitely the pass band for the part. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric substance (5) is filled between an inner conductor (4) and an outer conductor (3) to form a coaxial dielectric resonator (1A...) and plural sets of the resonators are arranged or the plural sets are integrated by using a common outer conductor to form the dielectric filter, then the outer conductor (3) is connected to ground via a required inductance (8A...) so as to decide a pass region of the dielectric filter in the said coaxial dielectric resonator (1A...) where the resonance frequency is provided to a desired frequency band and the resonance frequency is used as the attenuation frequency.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize a distribution constant filter whose fine adjustment as to electromagnetic coupling and capacitor coupling are simply implemented by forming a couple of grooves between adjacent throughholes and providing a conductor to a face close and opposite to the groove. CONSTITUTION:A couple of grooves 7, 8 in parallel with each other are formed to an upper face of a dielectric block 1 so that they are placed between adjacent throughholes 2, 3 in crossing with a center line of the holes 2, 3. Then shallow grooves 9, 10 are formed from each upper ridge of the throughholes 2, 3 toward the grooves 7, 8. Conductors 11, 12 are provided to at least opposite faces close to each other of the slots 7, 8 and the conductors are connected electrically to conductors 4, 5 of the inner circumferential face of the throughholes 2, 3. The depth of the grooves are varied by cutting the surface of the dielectric block with the grooves formed thereto. Thus, the filter is realized, in which the degree of both the electromagnetic coupling and the capacitor coupling is fine-adjusted.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain various excellent filter characteristics by adopting interdigital coupling for the coupling between a 1st stage resonator and a 2nd stage resonator and/or the final stage resonator and its preceding stage resonator, adopting a comb-line form for the coupling of other resonators and a form for the joints of adjacent resonators to be reduced externally. CONSTITUTION:Interdigital coupling is adopted for the coupling between the 1st stage resonator 2a and the 2nd stags resonator 2b and also for a 3rd stage resonator 2c and a 4th stage resonator 2d, and comb-line type coupling is adopted for the 2nd stage resonator 2b and the 3rd stage resonator 2c. Thus, the coupling strength between the resonators is increased comparatively at the input and output sides, and the coupling is comparatively weakened at the middle part. Moreover, the 1st resonator 2a and the 2nd resonator 2b and the 3rd resonator and the 4th resonator 2d are jointed respectively in a reduced shape by cut-notches 10,12. The degree of coupling is adjusted properly depending on the size of the cut-notch to obtain a proper coupling strength.

CONSTITUTION:Coaxial dielectric resonators 1A... are formed by packing a dielectric material 5 between an inner conductor 4 and an outer conductor 3 and the dielectric filter is formed by arranging plural sets of the said resonators, and the outer conductor connects in series with a required inductance or capacitance and connects to ground via a required inductance or capacitance so that the coaxial dielectric resonators 1A... have a resonance frequency at a required frequency band and the cut-off frequency at the outside of the said frequency is used for an attenuation pole.
