Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for removing particles from a slurry tank and a method thereof. SOLUTION: A system 10 for removing particles from a slurry tank 14 includes a filtering device 12 and a controller 18. The filtering device 12 collects and removes particles deposited within the slurry tank 14 and the controller 18 controls the placement and movement of the filtering device 12 with respect to the slurry tank 14. The filtering device 12 is provided with a first rod 20a, a second rod 20b, a third rod 20c, an upper panel 22, a lower panel 24, a filter 26, a connector 28 and a collecting tray 30.
