    Abstract: A serviceable liner is provided comprising an outer wall (12), an inner wall (10), a plurality of standoffs (16) disposed between the walls (10,12), and a plurality of attachment assemblies (15) for attaching the walls to one another. The outer wall (12) includes a plurality of first apertures (18). The inner wall (10) includes a plurality of sections (20), each section (20) having at least one second aperture (22). Each attachment assembly includes a fastener (42) and an insert (50). An insert (50) is received within each first aperture (18) and a fastener (42) is received within each insert (50).

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermally compliant liner (50) for a gas turbine engine. The liner includes an outer wall (100), an inner wall (110) spaced radially inwardly from the outer wall leaving a duct (112) therebetween. A plurality of stiffeners (120) are disposed in the duct (114). The stiffeners (120) include a flexible medial portion (128) which accommodates differential rates of thermal growth between the outer and inner walls (100,110). The stiffeners (120) also include radially extending portions (124) which in conjunction with the medial portion (128), minimize buckling of the liner due to pressure differentials.

    Abstract: The augmentor comprises an outer casing and a liner received within the outer casing having a forward and aft end. A stiffening ring has second cooling apertures. Finger-seals are positioned between the liner and stiffening ring, where each finger-seal includes cooling slots. Each cooling slot has a lengthwise axis. A device fastens the stiffening ring and finger-seals to the liner. The finger-seals and liner communicate with the nozzle to create a flexible seal between the liner and the nozzle. The cooling slots, first apertures, and second apertures are relatively positioned such that cooling air passing through the second cooling holes must travel within one of the cooling slots in a direction along the lengthwise axis of the slot before entering the first apertures.
