Abstract: OF THE DISCLOSURE A die casting system includes a die, a shot tube, a melting system and avacuum system. The die includes a plurality of die components that define a die cavity. The shot tube is in fluid communication with the die cavity and is operable to deliver a charge of material to the die cavity. The melting system is positioned adjacent to the die and includes an alloy loader, a melting unit and a crucible. The vacuum system defines a first chamber and a second chamber separated from the firstchamber by an isolation valve. Abstract: A high temperature die casting system includes a die casting tool that has diesthat are adapted for forming a component. The die casting tool is operable to heat and maintain a temperature of the dies above 500°F/260°C. At least a portion of the die casting tool that is exposed for contact with molten die casting material has a substrate and barrier coating on the substrate to protect from the molten die casting material.Figure 1
