Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable rapid filter replacement with high reliability by a filter replacement mechanism including an easily manipulable nut which controls the motion in the shaft line direction of a sleeve which seal engages with a filter and is detached by its engaging state. CONSTITUTION: A housing 14 which is disposed in a vehicle and houses a nuclear biological pollutant removing filter 10 is provided with an inlet 32, an outlet 34 and a mount 36 arranged between this inlet 32 and the outlet 34. The filter 10 is mounted and released between the inlet 32 and the mount 36. The device for loading and releasing the filter 10 mounted at the mount 36 is provided with the nut 72 which has a threaded part 80 for generating loading force and releasing force by rotation, a sleeve 16 which has a threaded part 54 for transmitting the loading force and releasing force cooperatively with the threaded part 80 by the nut 72 to the filter 10 on the outer face and a lock mechanism 18 which is disposed around the sleeve 16 and the nut 72 so as to prevent the sleeve 16 from releasing the loading of the filter 10 unless such is needed.

Abstract: A propeller or fan blade is rotatably mounted to a blade retention pitch member by means of a pin radially outside of a spinner. By mounting the propeller blade for rotation about the axis of the pin, the blade response to a vibratory excitation in a first mode of vibration is modified such that the twisting motion of the blade is minimized. High speed stability of the blade is enhanced thereby. Moreover a damaged blade may be easily replaced.
