Abstract: A lubricated high speed ball bearing includes a cage(18) formed as a scalloped ring rotatably supported in an annular channel formed in the inner split race centrally of the balls. Lubricating passageways in the inner split race communicate with this channel and where the side walls of the scalloped ring & the channel are dimensioned to befine a gap for leading lubricant to and from inside the bearing. This provides positive lubrication for the cage, balls and races by the same lubricant flow while also achieving unrestricted discharge of the lubricant from the bearing interior.
