    Abstract: An augmentor assembly for a gas turbine engine includes an alignment assembly disposed along an axis having a base and a plate. The base includes a plurality of grooves. The plate includes a plurality of flanges in mating engagement to the plurality of grooves. A first component and a second component are attached to the alignment assembly. The mating engagement of the plurality of grooves and the plurality of flanges is arranged to provide incremental adjustment to define a position of the first component relative to the second component.

    Abstract: A nut plate fastener includes a basket and a nut. The basket includes a web that extends laterally between a plurality of lipped flanges. The web and the lipped flanges form a channel that extends longitudinally through the basket. The web includes a fastener aperture, with an elongated cross-sectional geometry, that extends vertically through the web. The nut is arranged within the channel and aligned longitudinally with the fastener aperture. The lipped flanges retain the nut laterally and vertically within the channel.

A vane includes a journal that extends along an axis from a vane end and received in the bore. An insert is arranged in the recess and provides a second portion of the flow path surface adjacent to the first flow path surface. The insert includes a pocket that slidably receives the vane end. The vane end is configured to move axially relative to the insert.
