    Abstract: An airfoil includes an airfoil body that defines a longitudinal axis. The airfoil body includes a leading edge and a trailing edge and a first side wall and a second side wall that is spaced apart from the first side wall to define a camber line there between. The first side wall and the second side wall join the leading edge and the trailing edge and at least partially define a cavity in the airfoil body. Multiple ribs extend longitudinally in the cavity and are laterally spaced apart from each other relative to the longitudinal axis. In at least one plane that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, each of the ribs connects the first side wall and the second side wall along respective minimum distance directions that are perpendicular to the camber line. At least two of the respective minimum distance directions are non-parallel.

    Abstract: A lost core mold component comprises a first leg and a second leg with a plurality of crossover members connecting the first and second legs. The plurality of crossover members includes outermost crossover members spaced from each other. Adjacent ends of each of the first and second legs, and second crossover members are spaced closer to each other than are the outermost crossover members. Central crossover members extend between the first and second leg and between the second crossover members. The outermost crossover members extend for a first cross-sectional area. The second crossover members extend for a second cross-sectional area and the central crossover members extend for a third cross-sectional area. The first cross-sectional area is greater than the second cross-sectional area. The second cross-sectional area is greater than the third cross-sectional area. A gas turbine engine and component are also disclosed.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for depth measurement are described herein. A depth measurement device (100) may comprise a first light source (120) configured to direct a first beam of light (122), a second light source (124) configured to direct a second beam of light (126), and a mirror (130). The eyepiece (112) may be configured to maintain a consistent line-of-sight between the eyepiece (112), the mirror (130), and the desired location.
