    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decompose the org. compd. such as org. chlorine compd. with a relatively inexpensive and small sized device and to increase the utilization efficiency of input energy to the device even in the case that the operation time of the device is short and start and stop of operation of the device are performed many times. SOLUTION: In the decomposition method, a target 2 consisting of a solid to be treated containing at least org. compd. is housed in a shock wave reflective vessel 1 formed of a material having higher impact impedance than that of the solid to be treated. A high speed flying body 4 is collided with the target 2. In such a way, the org. compd. is decomposed by subjected the target 2 to shock compressing. And also the target 2 is ejected to the outside of the vessel to subject the target 2 to adiabatic expansion, so that the resynthesis of the org. compd. is prevented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a fluidized bed which obviates the dissipation of raw materials, such as powder and granular materials constituting the fluidized bed, to be subjected to a heat treatment, by using the fluidized bed, facilitates atmosphere regulation and is capable of executing the treatment in a uniform heating place by fluidizing the powder and granular material bed in a hermetic vessel and executing the formation of the fluidized bed. SOLUTION: This method for fluidizing the powder and granular material bed in the hermetic vessel consists in providing the hermetic vessel with a gas introducing means for introducing gas into the powder and granular material bed, a communicating means having a valve for communicating the gas introducing means with the ceiling section on the inner side of the hermetic vessel or near the same and an exciting means for vibrating the hermetic vessel and consists in fluidizing the powder and granular material bed by vibrating the hermetic vessel by the exciting means and controlling the flow of the gas in the hermetic vessel generated by accompanying the vibration by opening and closing of the valve of a vent pipe.
