The present disclosure is directed to a process and apparatus for the heat-treatment of textile materials wherein the material to be treated, for example thick material layers, can be heated shock-like to the treatment temperature and subsequently heated very uniformly. According to the present disclosure the treatment medium, for example steam, is evenly distributed throughout the treatment chamber.

THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE IS DIRECTED TO A CONTINUOUS PROCESS FOR PAD DYRING, PRINTING OR BLEACHING TEXTILE MATERIALS WHICH COMPRISES IMPREGNATING THE MATERIAL TO BE TREATED WITH THE TREATMENT LIQUOR, AND RAPIDLY AND UNIFORMLY HEATING-UP AND SETTING THE MATERIAL IN A TREATMENT CHAMBER WITH A GASEOUS OR VAPOROUS TREATMENT MEDIUM, SAID TREATMENT MENDIUM PENETRATING THE TEXTILE MATERIAL IN AN UPWARD DIRECTION SO THAT THE TEXTILE MATERIAL AT LEAST PARTIALLY RESTS ON A STEAM OR GAS CUSHION HEREBY ENSURING PROPER MATERIAL SHRINKAGE. The present disclosure is directed to an improved device for crimping groups of textile filaments, for example, synthetic filaments utilizing a pair of rollers and a compression compartment. The device produces a uniform crimp and contains features which facilitate the cleaning and maintenance thereof.

A godet which comprises a cylindrical outer jacket and a cylindrical inner jacket provided with a front face and a rear face, said outer and inner jacket defining an annular chamber therebetween, paraxially disposed means for subdividing the annular chamber into a plurality of chambers, at least two adjacent chambers communicating with each other at the front face of the godet, and at least one supply and discharge line connected with the chambers which are in communication with each other.

Flüssigkeitsauftragsvorrichtungen für eine breite Warenbahn, die nach dem Überlaufprinzip arbeiten, sind in vielfältigen Konstruktionen bekannt. Sie arbeiten zufriedenstellend, weil mit ihnen ein gleichmäßiger Farbauftrag über die Arbeitsbreite gewährleistet ist. Mit dem neuen Gerät ist jetzt auch ein schneller Farbwechsel möglich, weil das Fassungsvermögen der Auftragsvorrichtung kleiner als 5 l/m ist und durch besondere Ausgestaltung der Flüssigkeitsverteilräume in der Auftragsvorrichtung ein gleichmäßiger, laminar fließender Flüssigkeitsfilm gewährleistet ist.
