Abstract: The mensuration frame grabbing apparatus (10) is comprised of a translation mounting structure (50, 100) in which a solid state camera (140) can be moved in orthogonal X, Y and Z directions in relation to a reseau assembly (150). The reseau assembly (150) includes a reseau plate that contains a plurality of grid mark grooves (162), preferably in the shape of crosses, which are utilized to mark and coordinate spatial locations of the image on the object (not shown).
