Abstract: The invention relates to a method of producing sorbent granulates for separation of carbon dioxide from a fluid mixture, the method comprising providing particles of an amine functionalized sorbent material having amine groups chemically bound to the sorbent material surface which are ground into powder particles; and granulating the powder particles with added binder into sorbent granulates, wherein the sorbent granulates have a diameter in a range of 0.1-25 millimeter. The invention also relates to said produced sorbent granulate.
