    Abstract: PURPOSE: To attempt enhanced efficiency of an internal combustion engine and minimization in discharge of toxic ingredients by connecting a plurality of exhaust-driven turbo-compressors to an internal combustion engine, arranging in the internal combustion engine pressure control valves which are linked to each of the compressors of each of the turbo-compressors. CONSTITUTION: After outside air is fed to a compressor 6 of one turbo- compressor 4 through a suction line 10 and to a compressor 8 of the other turbo-compressor 5 through a connection line 11, it is fed to an inlet valve of an internal combustion engine through an inlet line 12. On the other hand, after the exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust valve 3 of the internal combustion engine 1, is divided into two lines 15, 16 from the exhaust line 13, each of the turbines 7, 9 of each of the turbo compressors 4, 5 are driven and the exhaust gas is discharged from each of flow-out tubes 17, 18. In this instance, in the internal combustion engine 1, a pressure control valve 19 is arranged and its pressure control line 20 is connected to the linking line 11 of each of the compressors 6, 8. In the inlet line 12, a combustion jet device 21 is arranged.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable a valve to be relatively light in weight even when the diameter of a valve head is large by providing an abutment surface on a valve stem for abutment with a fixed abutment surface of a valve guide. CONSTITUTION: A collar 16 on which an abutment surface 17 is formed is provided on a valve stem 3 in a valve 1. The abutment surface 17 abuts an end surface of a valve guide when the valve 1 is closed. Thus, the force applied to a valve head 2 is distributed to abutment surfaces 12, 17, therefore a convex portion 13 of the valve head 2 can be extremely thin. As the thickness of the valve head 2 is smaller, the weight of the entire valve 1 can be lighter. Consequently, the force necessary for opening and closing the valve applied to the valve mechanism can be smaller.
