Abstract:
A method and system for providing unified management of communication events. The method comprises receiving a communication message in a first format, converting the communication message to a generic message, determining one or more message destinations based on a set of routing rules, determining one or more message formats based on the determined destinations, converting the generic message into a converted message, and transmitting the converted message to the one or more determined destinations. The generic message is stored in a destination agnostic format. The converted message is stored in the one or more message formats associated with the one or more determined destinations.
Abstract:
Systems and methods performed by an IP telephony system allow a user to request that his IP telephony device be set into a conference calling mode for an indefinite period of time. When the user's IP telephony device is in the conference calling mode, all parties that attempt to call the user's IP telephony device are added to a conference bridge tied to the user's IP telephony device. All incoming calls are treated in this fashion until the user cancels the conference calling mode and returns to a normal calling mode.
Abstract:
Methods and system for integrating a media file within a text message on a user device are provided herein. In some embodiment, a method for integrating a media file within a text message may include sending a request to determine whether one or more text message terms included in a text message matches a predetermined list of terms, wherein each term in the predetermined list is associated with at least one media file, and receiving an indication of a match between the one or more text message terms and at least one term in the predetermined list, and tagging each of the matched text message terms with the at least one media file associated with the corresponding matched term in the predetermined list.
