The present invention relates to an apparatus and a system for filtering a liquid sample in a sample well (310) by transferring the liquid out of the sample well (310) through a filter member (320) situated at a bottom part of the sample well (310). The apparatus and the system comprise a syringe (100), and a seal member (200) arranged around a nozzle (140) of the syringe (100) in such a way that the syringe (100) is adjustable in connection with an upper part of the sample well (310) in a substantially airtight manner. The invention also concerns a method for filtering a liquid sample and use of the system for filtering eluted blood.

Sistema para filtrar muestras líquidas, comprendiendo el sistema: - una placa de muestra (300) que comprende una pluralidad de pocillos de muestra (310) para contener las muestras líquidas, teniendo cada uno de los pocillos de muestra un elemento de filtro (320) en su parte inferior, - una red de jeringas (100) que pueden conectarse a la pluralidad de los pocillos de muestra de modo que una jeringa se conecta con un pocillo de muestra, y - una unidad de control (500) para controlar el funcionamiento de las jeringas; caracterizado porque cada una de las jeringas comprende un elemento de sellado individual (200) dispuesto alrededor de una boquilla (140) de la jeringa de tal manera que la jeringa puede ajustarse en conexión con una parte superior de un pocillo de muestra de la placa de muestra de una manera sustancialmente hermética.

The invention relates to a punching tool for taking a biological sample from a filter using punching, the punching tool comprising a punch and a die provided with a punching channel for conveying the sample from the upper surface of the die towards the lower end of the die that includes a guidance means of the sample comprising a guidance channel arranged as an extension of the punching channel for receiving the sample from the punching channel, the diameter of the guidance channel is 1.02 to 2× the diameter of the punch and is greater than the diameter of the punching channel, and at the connecting point with the punching channel the guidance channel forms a shoulder and broadens towards the free end of the guidance means. In order to reduce the number of mistakes when taking samples, while the structure of the punching tool still remains simple at the end of the guidance means that faces towards the punching channel of the die, the diameter of the guidance channel is constant at a portion of the length thereof and the walls of the shoulder are placed at an angle from 170 to 300 degrees in relation to one another.

A method for taking a sample (22a) from a closed test tube (11) without removing the stopper (12) of the test tube. According to the method, the stopper of the test tube is pierced with a disposable piercing needle (13) through which the sample is taken to the sample receptacle (16) of the sampling device (10). From there the sample (22b) is dispensed with a dispenser needle. The sampling device comprises an adapting element for fitting the test tube, with the piercing needle first, to the sampling device, a cup-like sample receptacle and a suction device for drawing the sample that is in the test tube into the sample receptacle
