Abstract: The invention relates to a light compressor for splitting the incident light into a plurality of light bundles having differently or uniformly increased light intensity or luminous density. The light compressor consists of a plurality of collector lenses or collector lens systems of arbitrary focal length and surface magnitude, which are juxtaposed to form a lens disc (4). In the preferred exemplary embodiment, the lens disc (4) is circular and is formed by four lens fragments (5) of the same focal length but different magnitude. The lens fragments (5) are produced by mutual intersection of collector lenses (10) and by trimming at the rims, and are bounded by the intersection lines (8) and the rim (9) of the lens disc (4). The lens disc (4) is particularly suitable for installation in the measuring head of a photoelectric colour-measuring instrument, photodiodes and tricolour filters for measuring the emerging light bundles being installed at the focal points on the output side on the optical axes (6) of the lens fragments (5).

Abstract: The invention relates to a colour-measuring instrument in which differently coloured (heterochromatic) separating filters (15) can be connected upstream of a light sensor (16) brought into the beam path of the light to be measured. In order to be able to work with identical, simple and inexpensive light-sensitive elements and with approximately the same amplifications (gains), the invention provides that a conical frustum (10-13) which focuses the incident light and is made from light-sensitive material and has its covering surface located at the tapering end is arranged upstream of each separating filter (15) and facing the latter. As a result, the size of the covering surface is approximately equal to the light-sensitive surface of the light sensor, and the basic area of the conical frustum (10-13) is selected to be larger the smaller the colour content to be filtered in the light to be measured and/or the lower the sensitivity of the light sensor (16) to the particular colour content.

Abstract: Method for prodn. of correctly coloured enlargements of colour photographs is carried out by taking a picture of exposure light, using an attachment (6) which transmits diffuse light mounted over the lens, before taking a picture of the desired scene. After developing the pictures, the exposure light negative is filtered in the dark chamber with a colour analyser and a colour mixer head so as to produce colour balance at the colour analyser. The colour photographis taken with the same exposure light can then be enlarged successively while maintaing the colour mixer head adjustment. The lens attachment is pref. cup-shaped and made of matt white plastic material, and connected to a lens protector cover (5).
