    Abstract: A method and apparatus for conducting a fracturing operation using a wellbore fracturing assembly. The assembly may be mechanically set and released from a wellbore using a coiled tubing string to conduct a fracturing operation adjacent an area of interest in a formation. The assembly may include an unloader for equalizing pressure between the assembly and the wellbore, a pair of spaced apart packers for straddling the area of interest, an injection port disposed between the packers for injecting fracturing fluid into the area of interest, and an anchor for securing the assembly in the wellbore. After conducting the fracturing operation, the assembly may be relocated to another area of interest to conduct another fracturing operation.

In one embodiment, a method of flow testing multiple zones in a wellbore includes lowering a tool string into the wellbore. The tool string includes an inflatable packer or plug and an electric pump. The method further includes operating the pump, thereby inflating the packer or plug and isolating a first zone from one or more other zones; monitoring flow from the first zone; deflating the packer or plug; moving the tool string in the wellbore; and operating the pump, thereby inflating the packer or plug and isolating a second zone from one or more other zones; and monitoring flow from the second zone. The zones are monitored in one trip.

    Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a method and an apparatus fo r stimulating the production of an existing well. In one aspect, a method of treating a well is provided. The method includes inserting a selective treatment assembly an d a plug assembly into a partially lined wellbore until the selective treatment assembly is positioned proximate an area of interest. Thereafter, the selective treatmen t assembly is activated to isolate and treat the area of interest. Next, the selective treatment assembly is deactivated and urged toward the surface of the well until the plug assembly is seated in a polished bore receptacle disposed in a string of casing. At this point, the treated portion of the wellbore is separated from the untreated portion. Thereafter, the pressure in the untreated portion of the wellbore is equaliz ed with the surface of the well and then the selective treatment assembly is removed fro m the wellbore while the plug assembly remains in the polished bore receptacle. Next, a string of production tubing is disposed in the wellbore and attached to the polished bore receptacle. The plug assembly is then removed from the polished bore receptacle and the well is produced. In another aspect an apparatus for treating a portion of a wellbore is provided.
