The invention relates to a collapsible vehicle roof having at least one first roof part (2) and one second roof part (3), which can move from a closed position, in which they at least partially cover a vehicle passenger compartment (5), into an open position in which they uncover said passenger compartment (5), wherein the first roof part (2) is coupled so as to be capable of moving relative to the bodywork of a vehicle by means of a primary activation kinematic system (12), and the second roof part (3) is coupled so as to be capable of moving relative to the first roof part (2) by means of a secondary activation kinematic system (14), wherein the primary and secondary activation kinematic systems (12, 14) are forcibly coupled and when the secondary activation kinematic system (14) is activated a relative position of position-determining joints (A, B, C, E) for the first roof part (2) in space with respect to one another is changed in such a way that the first roof part (2) is raised at least in certain areas.

The invention relates to an opening vehicle roof having an actuating device (1) for a movable roof element, wherein the actuating device (1) comprises a lifting/lowering mechanism (2) in the type of a four-bar joint, having a sliding carriage (8), and a drive mechanism (3) comprising a driving carriage (15) and a toggle lever (19), wherein the toggle lever (19) is coupled to a first intermediate lever (22) that is pivotally supported in relation to the sliding carriage (8), and a second intermediate lever (25) is coupled to the first intermediate lever (22) at one end, and to the control lever of the lifting/lowering mechanism (2) at the other end.

The invention relates to a stowable vehicle roof (1) for a vehicle, comprising a front segment (3), a central segment (4) and a rear segment (5), the front segment (3) and the rear segment (5) being pivotally hinged to the central segment (4) by means of front rods (9, 10) and rear rods (11, 12) respectively in order to be pivoted over said central segment. The front segment and the rear segment, together with the central segment (4) are pivotally hinged to the bodywork of the vehicle by means of guide rods and principal rods (7, 8) in order to be stowed in a receiving compartment. The roof is characterised in that the rear rods (11, 12) of the rear segment (5) are pivotally hinged to the central segment (4) by means of a linkage (2). The invention also relates to a corresponding method.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding top for a convertible. SOLUTION: The folding top for the convertible is provided. The folding top comprises a folding top cloth (16) and a folding top linkage (14) having a main link (28) mounted on a main support body (26) on both sides, and a frame part (38) extended to the almost longitudinal direction of a vehicle and an intermediate link (44) are connected to the main link (28) in the closed position of the top. A front, rigid folding top element (22) is connected to the intermediate link (44) through a first folding top element link (58), and connected to the frame part (38) through a second folding top element link (60). The folding top linkage (14) is provided with a means so as to bring about a continuous speed reduction of the front, rigid folding top element (22) during the sequence of movement of the top from the storage position to the closed position. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Deckel (5) eines Fahrzeugdaches (2), der mittels einer Ausstellmechanik (44) zwischen einer in einer Dachöffnung (3) angeordneten Schließstellung und einer ausgeschwenkten Lüftungsstellung verstellbar ist, wobei erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen ist, dass die Ausstellmechanik (44) einen Ausstellhebel (50) aufweist, der am Deckel (5) angelenkt ist und über einen Kniehebel (57) mit einem Antriebsschlitten (43) gekoppelt ist, dass bei in Schließstellung angeordnetem Deckel (5) der Kniehebel (57) in Richtung der anfänglichen Ausschwenkbewegung des Deckels (5) angeordnet ist und dass bei ausgeschwenktem Deckel (5) der Ausstellhebel (50) in Richtung der Absenkbewegung des Deckels (5) angeordnet ist.
