    Abstract: A water treatment system (10) comprising a water mixing unit (50) adapted to promote water turbulence, an input line (12) having an upstream end adapted to be in fluid communication with a body of water to be treated, and a downstream end in fluid communication with the water mixing unit (50). The system (10) includes an ozone injector (30) adapted to be connected in fluid communication with an ozone gas generation system (20).
