Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved pigment composition for manufacturing a toner having improved color reproductivity and light resistance.
SOLUTION: The pigment composition comprises a first pigment containing a xanthene dye and a second pigment containing a monoazo dye, the first pigment is selected from C.I. pigment red 81:2, C.I. pigment red 81:1, C.I. pigment red 81:3, C.I. pigment red 81:4, C.I. pigment red 81:5, C.I. pigment red 81:6 and a combination thereof, the second pigment is selected from C.I. pigment red 57:1, C.I. pigment red 57, C.I. pigment red 57:2, C.I. pigment red 57:3 and a combination thereof, and the weight ratio of the first pigment and the second pigment is from about 30:70 to about 80:20.
