Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which efficiently reduces the power consumption of a device.
SOLUTION: In a process for controlling a power consumption level in the device, the device is operated at a complete-operation power level; a first standby time is counted; and a first standby time changer is changed in response to the detection of the use of the device before the completion of the first standby time. Additionally, the power consumption is reduced to a low power level from the complete operation level in response to the completion of the first standby time.
