Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved acoustic lens which is formed in a complete hemisphere as much as possible. SOLUTION: An acoustic lens is manufactured such that a substrate 10 is etched to make a recess of a lens 11 integrally formed in a parabola shape. An etching solvent 13 is placed on the substrate 10 and a light 15 which is patterned by using a mask 17 from a parallel light source 19 is emitted to the etching solvent 13, thereby manufacturing the acoustic lens.
