PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic music playing apparatus that can automatically play one musical instrument (especially, a natural instrument) and adds an influence of a human's playing operation to the automatic playing. SOLUTION: When a player puts an embouchure detection sensor 11 on the lips 4, forms lip reeds, and blows breath in, an embouchure and breathing pressure at this time are detected by the embouchure detection sensor 11 and a breathing pressure sensor 12. A breathing pressure correction part 16 generates a correction breathing pressure signal by taking detected breathing pressure information into account for breathing pressure automatic playing data by a quantity corresponding to a degree r2 of participation and a embouchure correction part 14 also generates a correction embouchure signal. A breathing pressure actuator 12 and a embouchure actuator 18 are driven according to the auxiliary signals, and then the musical instrument player 1 enables a trumpet 2 to perform automatic playing in which a player's playing action participates according to the degree of participation. SOLUTION: The music content using device is equipped with a data input part b11 and a use processing part B15 which are realized through program processing. The data input part B11 inputs music content data consisting of a plurality of kinds of content raw material data regarding music and content rule data including plug-in specification of a plug-in program used to use the content raw material data. The use processing part B15 uses a plug-in program stored in a plug-in program storage part B17 according to the plug-in indication in the inputted content rule data to present music contents to a user by generating musical sounds and displaying images according to the inputted content raw material data. SOLUTION: This music content using device is equipped with a data input part B11, a conversion processing part B13, and a use processing part B15 which are realized through program processing. The data input part B11 inputs music content data consisting of a plurality of kinds of content raw material data regarding music and content rule data prescribing how to handle the content raw material data. The conversion processing part B13 converts the content rule data according to a style sheet stored in a style sheet storage part B14 to enable the use processing part B15 to use the content raw material data. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute chord detection, for example, by automatically dividing playing information to the plural parts meeting the playing information. SOLUTION: The key chord of the key touch tones of a keyboard 4 is stored. Interrupt processing is executed at every one piece of the eight notes in a CPU 1 by the interrupt signal from a timer 10. The key chord generated in the keyboard 4 are analyzed to four parts; a base voice part, a base chord voice part, melody chord voice part and melody voice part. Single voice part analysis, two voice part analysis, three voice part analysis and >=4 voice part analysis are carried out according to the number of touched keys. The parts of the touched key tones are determined by the combinations of plural conditions, such as the pitch of tones, whether timing is a bar top or not, whether downbeat tone or upbeat tone, the interval from the previous base voice part tone and the interval with the previous melody chord voice part tone. Whether the determined pitch information is adequate or not with respect to the respective parts is judged and if the information is inadequate, the temporally determined contents are changed and the part analysis of the remaining pitch information is carried out.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform automatic accompaniment according to request of a user by automatically controlling adequateness of the selection of an accompaniment pattern by a selection operator during automatic accompaniment, whether the pattern is set to be valid or invalid. SOLUTION: A ROM 12, a RAM 13, a key depression detecting circuit 14, a switch detecting circuit 15, a display circuit 16, a sound source circuit 17, a sound system 18, a timer 19, and a MIDI interface 1D are connected with a microprocessor unit 11 for controlling an operation of an electronic musical- instrument 1F. When an accompaniment pattern selected by a selection operator is not matched to an accompaniment pattern set by a setting means not to be read, the selected accompaniment pattern is read out. When the selected accompaniment pattern is matched to the accompaniment pattern set by the setting means not to be read, another pattern is read out from an accompaniment pattern storage means. Based on the read out accompaniment pattern, automatic accompaniment sound is generated.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to master a musical instrument performance by using a computer device. SOLUTION: The computer device capable of connecting with an electronic musical instrument 25 is provided with a diagnosing function, a selecting function, a practicing function and an evaluating function. The diagnosing function displays a theme on a display 15 and diagnoses user's playing ability in response to an input from the electronic musical instrument 25 and a keyboard 14. The selecting function selects music data regarding an etude among the data regarding many pieces of music stored in data bases 17 and 21 corresponding to the said diagnosis result and a user's desire. The practicing function makes a plan of the practice according to the user's playing ability and the user's desire and makes the user practice the said selected etude according to the plan. The evaluating function inputs a signal from the electronic musical instrument 25 to evaluate and score various items, reflects the evaluating and scoring results on the progress of the said playing practice and also uses them for correcting the said diagnosis results.
