Abstract:
A liftable puller device includes a holder, a puller assembly located on the holder, a first frame coupled with the holder and a second frame coupled with the puller assembly. The puller assembly is installed on the holder via the first frame and second frame, and includes a plurality of grippers to grip a wheel. The first frame has a first main retaining zone located on the top end thereof, two first sub retaining zones relative to the first main retaining zone and a first auxiliary retaining zone between the first main retaining zone and one first sub retaining zone. By providing the first auxiliary retaining zone, only a small range of movement is needed to complete switch between a two-gripper and a multi-gripper puller device.
Abstract:
A method of making a plurality of battery plates includes forming a strip including a plurality of battery grids. Each battery grid includes a grid network bordered by a frame element and includes a plurality of spaced apart grid wire elements. Each grid wire element has opposed ends joined to one of a plurality of nodes to define a plurality of open spaces in the grid network. The method also includes deforming at least a portion of a plurality of the grid wire elements such that the deformed grid wire elements have a first transverse cross-section at a point intermediate their opposed ends that differs from a second transverse cross-section taken at least one of their opposed ends. The method also includes applying a lead alloy coating to the strip, applying battery paste to the strip, and cutting the strip to form a plurality of battery plates.
Abstract:
In some embodiments, an information handling system may include a motherboard including a processor and memory coupled to the processor; one or more power supply units configured to provide power to the motherboard; and a connection system configured to deliver voltage from the one or more power supply units to the motherboard in both: (a) a first configuration including a single power supply unit providing power to the motherboard; and (b) a second configuration including multiple power supply units providing power to the motherboard.
Abstract:
A fluid delivery device is provided. The device comprises an internal container, an external container and a first delivery pipe. The internal container has a first space for containing a fluid to be delivered. The external container substantially surrounds the internal container to form a substantially sealed second space between the internal container and the external container, wherein the second space is for an assistant liquid. The assistant liquid is heated to raise the pressure in the second space, and then, the internal container is pressed, thereby driving the fluid out along the first delivery pipe.
Abstract:
An electronic product (for example: an industrial computer) having an airflow-guiding device is disclosed, thereby preventing most of the airflow from being carried away by power supplies, wherein most of the air flow directed towards the power supplies will result in other electronic modules failing to have proper heat-dissipation. The present invention is to install metal partition plates on the inlets of air passages among the power supplies, fan modules and both sides of the electronic modules in the electronic product, wherein each of the meal partition plate is composed of a partition main body; folded plated respectively connected to two opposite sides of the partition main body; and buffer elements (for example: sponge pads) covering portions of the other two opposite sides of the partition main body.
Abstract:
An elastic computer connector is described. The elastic computer connector utilizes an elastic device to couple the elastic computer connector to a corresponding computer connector with a predetermined contact force so as to eliminate a poor contact problem. The elastic computer connector includes a protection shell, contact terminals, a wire set, and at least one elastic device. The protection shell protects the contact terminals and the contact terminals are coupled to the corresponding computer connector. The elastic device provides a spring force while the elastic computer connector is coupled to the corresponding computer connector to maintain the predetermined contact force.
Abstract:
A method of making a battery includes forming a strip of interconnected grids from a grid material by feeding a continuous strip of the grid material along a linear path aligned with the longitudinal direction of the strip and punching grid material out of the strip. Each interconnected grid includes a plurality of wires, with each wire having opposed ends joined to one of a plurality of nodes to define a plurality of open spaces. The method also includes modifying at least one of the wires at a position intermediate the opposed ends of the wire such that a first transverse cross-section taken intermediate the opposed ends of the wire differs from a second transverse cross-section of the wire taken at one of the opposed ends of the wire. The method further includes applying paste to the strip and cutting the strip to form a plurality of plates.
Abstract:
A device for mounting a bearing onto a shaft includes a tube connected to the shaft and having an open end. Three grooves are defined longitudinally in the tube and communicate with the open end. A pushing member has three wings extending radially outward therefrom and the wings are movably received in the grooves. Each of the wings has a rod slidably and perpendicularly connected thereto so as to contact a surface of the bearing. A hydraulic pushing rod pushes the pushing member toward the shaft so that the bearing is moved on the shaft.
Abstract:
A method of forming battery grids or plates that includes the step of mechanically reshaping or refinishing battery grid wires to improve adhesion between the battery paste and the grid wires. The method is particularly useful in improving the past adhesion to battery grids formed by a continuous batter grid making process (such as strip expansion, strip stamping, continuous casting) that produces grid wires and nodes with smooth surfaces and rectangular cross-section. In a preferred version of the method, the grid wires of battery grids produced by a stamping process are deformed such that the grid wires have a cross-section other than the rectangular cross-section produced by the stamping process. The method increases the cycle life of a battery.
