Abstract: The present invention is for a backpack sprayer which has a reservoir tank fixedly attached to a support frame, said tank having a fill opening located at the top end and a pressure vessel located therein. The pressure vessel has a pump housing located therein which has a one way check valve leading into the pressure vessel, said pump housing also having a cylinder actuated by a hand crank for compressing the sprayed liquid into the pressure vessel. The pressure vessel expels the compressed liquid through a hand-held wand operated by the user.
