Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
Elongate articles such as plastics bottles (2) are packed into a box or tray (1) by arranging the articles (2) side by side in a stack of superimposed horizontal rows and then displacing horizontally from the stack, and in the direction of their horizontal parallel axes, an array of the superimposed articles into the box or tray arranged on its side, the box or tray being then tipped onto its base.
Abstract:
An article delivery transferring device in a collective packing machine of stop waiting operation control system is provided. Said collective packing machine comprises a main packing machine and an auxiliary packing machine each having an individual driving source, wherein articles from the main packing machine in continuous operation are delivered and transferred to the auxiliary packing machine in stop waiting operation, characterized in that a grasping belt having an individual driving source is arranged on both sides of an article conveying path between the main packing machine and the auxiliary packing machine and belt traveling speed of the grasping belt is matched to operation speed of the main . packing machine, article detecting sensors to detect passing articles are disposed at midway of the article conveying path, decision regarding whether or not the continuous operation of the auxiliary packing machine is possible can be performed early using the grasping belt and the article detecting sensors, whereby the auxiliary packing machine in matched and synchronous operation can be operated continuously at high speed.
Abstract:
A machine for orienting, accumulating and positioning packages received from two sources for loading into containers has an oscillating member (22) which oscillates between the two sources during which time it both receives packages from one source while participating in loading packages into a container from the other source. Associated with the oscillating member and with each source is an orienting mechanism (14) which rotates packages received from its associated source so that they rest on a common one of their sides, an accumulating mechanism (16) which collects the packages rotated by the orienting mechanism into a group of a predetermined number, a positioning mechanism (18) which positions the grouped packages onto the oscillating member, and a loading mechanism (20) which advances the positioned and grouped packages from the oscillating member into the container.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a machine for arranging product units, for example rigid or deformable packages, comprising, in combination: a feed unit for the packages, and a unit for arranging these latter and conveying them to a unit for depositing the so arranged packages on to an underlying discharge unit.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for loading articles into cases utilize indexed rotary movement of a carousel device (11) having a series of spaced apart platforms (12) with a case holding device (22) directly above each platform. Articles (17) are pushed onto one of the platforms at an infeed station, in a desired configuration for packing, with an open-bottomed case (21) held directly above the platform. The platform and empty case are then rotated to an offloading station, and the platform is raised up into the bottom of the case by camming action, in response to the rotation. At the offloading station, flap folders (51) push first and second bottom flaps of the case up into a closed position, and the case is pushed off the platform onto a conveyor, which also effects closure of a third flap up against the first and second flaps. There may be three stations, and the cases may be drawn from a flattened, stored configuration, opened and gripped by the case holding device at a station following the offloading station.
Abstract:
Successive stacks (9) of wrapped reams of paper sheets are delivered onto first cardboard blanks (10) on top of a first platform (41) which is then maintained in raised position. The platform (41) thereupon descends and the front and rear sidewalls of the blank (10) are simultaneously pivoted against the respective sides of the descending stack (9) before the latter leaves the first platform (41) and continuously advances along a first horizontal path wherein the conversion of the first blank (10) continues so that such blank ultimately constitutes a case (2) surrounding the bottom and the sides of the respective stack (9). The stack (9) is then lifted by a second platform (52) and a second blank (19) is placed on top of the ascending stack (9) or even ahead of the second platform (52). The rising second platform (52) moves the second blank (19) past a first set of folding devices which fold its front and rear flaps, and the stack (9) thereupon continuously advances along a second horizontal path to complete the conversion of the second blank (19) into a lid (3) which overlies the top of the stack (9) and is glued to the adjacent parts of the case (2). The effective width and height of the apparatus and the effective width of the hoppers for the first (10) and second (19) blanks are adjustable.
Abstract:
A control method of operation of a collective packing machine is provided. The packing machine is composed of a main packing machine and an auxiliary packing machine. The main packing machine is in continuous operation while the auxiliary packing machine is in stop waiting operation wherein the auxiliary packing machine is operated in matching and synchronization with said main packing machine. When the auxiliary packing machine is at stop waiting state, revolution speed of a main shaft of the main packing machine and revolution speed of an input shaft of a clutch of the auxiliary packing machine are controlled in matching. When an output shaft of the clutch is stopped and operation of the auxiliary packing machine is started, operation starting time of the auxiliary packing machine Is made earlier than normal operation starting time by time t B . Said time t s depends on operation speed of the main packing machine so as to enable synchronization of the main packing machine with the auxiliary packing machine at the time of finishing to connect the clutch of the auxiliary packing machine; and after finishing to connect the clutch, the main packing machine and the auxiliary packing machine are controlled in synchronization.
