Abstract:
Apparatus and process in which one plate, or several accurately superimposed plates (10, 16) carry items (12, 18) to be packaged. On inversion of the plates, items either fall directly into the voids of a partitioned box (26) or fall into individual packages held by a plate, which packaged items are then ejected by pushrods, etc. into a single box. A plate may have cut-away portions (e.g. V-shaped grooves) which receive upstanding edges or partition walls of a box to accurately register box with plate (and contents) and nest the box into the plate to achieve configuration-accurate inversion of the items to be packaged.
Abstract:
A blister band filling device comprises a member (7) for rabbling articles (3) over a blister band (2), including a support band (8) carrying a plurality of spreading means (9) regularly set and protruding from the external surface thereof. These spreading means (9) move the articles (3) in order to spread them on the blister band and facilitate their collocation in respective receptacles (4) of the band (2). The support band (8) moves in direction opposite to the blister band (2) motion direction. A means (14) for feeding the articles (3) is situated upstream of the rabbling member (7), while a recovery means (19) collects the articles (3) still outside the receptacles downstream of the rabbling member (7), and brings them back to the feeding means.
Abstract:
Apparatus for packaging articles is provided comprising a plate member (10) having a plurality of apertures (12a, 12b, 12c) therein. Each aperture has at least two openings and receives an article or group of articles (14, 22, 24) through a first opening. Each aperture has non-return stop means (20) to releasably retain an article or group of articles (14, 22, 24) therein. Plate member (10) has means to register (32, 34) one or more packages (26) there against so that rotation of plate (10) and package (26) or packages while in registration allows articles (14, 22, 24) in the apertures (12a, 12b, 12c) to move into positions in package (26) predetermined by the position of the apertures (12a, 12b, 12c). The invention also provides process of packaging articles using such a plate member (10).
Abstract:
A machine for conditioning filled and sealed bags for testing, to assure that the bags are accurately tested without damaging the product contained in the bags, and for packaging the bags that have passed the test in cartons (800) with the longitudinal axis of the bags arranged vertical.
Abstract:
An apparatus (23) for feeding hypodermic needles (16) into corresponding recesses of a mold cavity (C) in the bottom mold plate (21) of a plastic injection molding machine (Fig. 1). The bottom mold plate (21) can be shifted from a molding position to a loading position at one side of the machine (Fig. 5). At that side of the machine, a magazine (33 and 34) holding two stacks of hypodermic needles (16) is slidably adjustable horizontally with respect to a shuttle plate (21) mounted on that side of the machine. The magazine at the bottom has lower and upper plates (44 and 45) slidable respectively across the bottom and top of the shuttle plate (21). In one position of the magazine, openings in its upper bottom plate register with corresponding openings in the shuttle plate to pass individual needles by gravity into the shuttle plate (Fig. 5). In another position of the magazine, openings, in its lower bottom plate register with corresponding openings in the shuttle plate to pass individual needles by gravity from the shuttle plate into corresponding recesses of the mold cavity when the bottom mold plate is in its loading position (Fig. 5).
Abstract:
Device for automatically packaging food products or the like having, in particular, the shape of a parallelepiped and being arranged in uniform rows in boxes without separations. The device comprises means (2, 6) for shifting retaining lugs (21) above a first conveyor belt (1) for carrying packaging boxes (11). Said retaining lugs (21) comprise a support (214, 65) for a blade (213), (n-1) retaining lugs (21) being inserted into a box (11) to form n sections capable of being filled with superimposed bars (4) carried by a second conveyor belt (5) arranged at right angles to the first belt (1) above the upper plane of said boxes (11).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for placing products, such as fragile food products (c), in one or more holders (10) comprising the following steps: moving one or more placing elements (3, 4) downwards; bringing the products above a holder by means of the placing elements, so that the products drop into the holder under their own weight; and moving the placing elements upwards and back to the position whereunder the products are brought to.
