Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
Apparatus for loading trays with cut product typically meat chops is described, comprising a delivery conveyor (22) onto which are delivered the pieces of cut product (76) in sequence for movement to a delivery station (26), a tray conveyor (32) extending transversely to the delivery conveyor (22) and adapted to deliver in succession each of a plurality of trays (90) to the delivery station to receive cut product, and a product detector (94, 96) at the delivery station to detect the passage of each piece of cut product therethrough. The tray conveyor drive (230) operates in response to the detection of cut pieces by the detector (94, 96) to move the tray conveyor through a small amount sufficient to present the next available region of a tray to the delivery station, to receive the next piece of cut product so as to fill each tray in turn. A transfer conveyor (34) downstream from the delivery station moves the filled trays away from the delivery station.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for handling objects to package the same. The inventive device comprises a lifting head (17) placed in an extension arm (16) having multiple levers (59, 60, 61), with ends (62, 67) placed on linear drives (63, 68) that can be independently controlled and are flexibly interconnected to the opposite ends (65, 69). The displacement of the linear drives (63, 68) makes it possible to move back and forth the ends (62, 67) of the levers (59, 60, 61) that are flexibly connected to the linear drives (63, 68), thereby enabling the ends (62, 65, 67, 69) of the levers (59, 60, 61) to pivot. These pivotal movements allow the lifting head (17) that is placed on the extension arm (16) to move up and down in a vertical direction and back and forth in a horizontal direction.
Abstract:
In a process for inserting several flexible foil packages into a package container, the support for the leading foil package is removed and the package container with the designated place for said foil package is taken to the region of said support. In a corresponding device, the upper web (36) of a conveyor belt (34) is taken by its leading deflection roller (40) from the region of the package container (1) and the package container (50) is correspondingly shifted. Thus each foil package (14) remains virtually still until it has been fully inserted into the package container (50).
Abstract:
A method of packaging a number of furniture support bases (10) in a carton (26) is disclosed, said bases having a plurality of arms disposed about a central axis which method comprises: placing a first set (41) of two bases flat in said carton one by another in a substantially ordered stack; placing a second set (42) of eight bases "head up" in said carton one by another in a substantially ordered stack in a plane substantially at right angles to the first set of bases; placing a third set (43) of eight bases "head down" in said carton one by another in a substantially ordered stack in a plane at right angles to the plane of the first and second set of bases; and placing a fourth set (44) of two bases in said carton one by another in a substantially ordered stack in a plane at right angles to the plane of the second and third sets of bases and generally co-axially disposed in the same direction as the first set of bases. The second and third sets of bases are generally co-axially disposed at right angles. A package of bases packed by the method is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Successive stacks (6, 7) of articles such as infusion packages are filled into a carton (1), the carton (1) being moved forward in a stepwise manner between the filling steps. The stacks (6, 7) of articles are prevented from falling backwards during this movement by virtue of arms (13, 14) which distort the walls (15, 16) of the carton immediately behind the stacks during the movement.
Abstract:
A case loader which automatically puts articles such as bottles into the case. The bottles leave the conveyor and slide across a tiltable support station (22). When a case load of bottles is on the support station a first sensor (40) is activated. When the case is in the loading position a second sensor (50) is activated. When both sensors are activated, the bottles fall down individual chutes (31, 32) into the case.
