Abstract: 14 ABSTRACT The disclosure relates to a door drive mechanism (2) for moving a sliding door (1) between an open and a closed position in an opening (7), comprising a drive roller (4) configured to be mounted at a wall/structure defining the opening and in rotatable engagement with a first driving portion (37,38) of a first door leaf (3), wherein the first driving 5 portion (37,38) has a first driving length, and wherein the drive roller (4) is configured to move the first door leaf (3) when the drive roller (4) is rotated in engagement with the first driving portion (37,38).
