    Abstract: The invention relates to a diameter measuring device for a loading harvester with fraction rollers, the shafts (3, 4) of which are moving in relation to each other in accordance with the diameter of a log. A chainlike element (2) is from its one end fixed to the shaft (4) of one traction roller and via a support (8) on the shaft (3) of the other traction roller connected and fixed to a chain pinion inside a casing (7) fixed on the shaft (3) of the other traction roller. The chain pinion is connected with a retracting spring and by an axle connected to an angle sensing element (1), the result of which is transformed to a log diameter reading.
