Abstract: An electromagnetic radiation detector includes an InP substrate having a first surface opposite a second surface; a first InGaAs electromagnetic radiation absorber stacked on the first surface and configured to absorb a first set of electromagnetic radiation wavelengths; a set of one or more buffer layers stacked on the first InGaAs electromagnetic radiation absorber and configured to absorb at least some of the first set of electromagnetic radiation wavelengths; a second InGaAs electromagnetic radiation absorber stacked on the set of one or more buffer layers and configured to absorb a second set of electromagnetic radiation wavelengths; and an immersion condenser lens formed on the second surface and configured to direct electromagnetic radiation through the InP substrate and toward the first InGaAs electromagnetic radiation absorber and the second InGaAs electromagnetic radiation absorber.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle assemblies and methods for assembling and mounting toolless receptacle assemblies to a housing of a luminaire. The receptacle assembly includes a rotatable receptacle that has an insert portion with an electrical face configured to mate with a photoelectric device and includes an outer ring portion that has a mounting face opposite the electrical face. The mounting face is configured to mount on the housing. A locating mechanism of the receptacle assembly is configured to orient the rotatable receptacle on the housing in a desired direction for optimal positioning of the photoelectric device. A locking base is configured to receive at least a portion of the insert portion. A releasable retention member if configured to couple to the locking base and the insert portion of the rotatable receptacle for securing the receptacle assembly to the housing.

Abstract: A sensor device having a sensor housing and a printed circuit board coupled to the sensor housing. A light emitting device is coupled to the printed circuit board. The light emitting device has an emitter face defining an emission face area. An aperture plate is coupled to the sensor housing, the aperture plate defines an aperture having an aperture area that is less than the emission face area of the emitter face. The aperture is less than 1mm from the emitter face wherein the light emitting device is not fixed to the aperture plate. A lens is coupled to the sensor housing, having an optical axis extending through the aperture. The aperture plate is positioned between the lens and the emitter face. Boresighting angle variation across sensor components on a manufacturing line may advantageously be reduced without increased cost associated with active alignment. Irradiance drop-out may also be reduced.

Abstract: A rotatable receptacle and method of assembling and mounting a rotatable receptacle. The receptacle includes an outer ring that has a mounting surface for mounting to a housing, and a rotatable insert that is received in the outer ring. An inner surface of the outer ring surrounds an outer surface of the rotatable insert. The rotatable insert has an electrical face configured to mate with a photoelectric device and an opposite mounting face for mounting to the housing. The rotatable insert is rotatable with respect to the outer ring to orient the rotatable insert in a desired direction for optimal positioning of the photoelectric device. The outer ring and the rotatable insert have corresponding interlocking features configured to fix the rotatable insert in the desired direction.
