Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The illumination device has a capped electric lamp (1), a reflector (10) and retention means (20) for keeping the lamp (1) fixed to the reflector (10), an electric element (4) of the lamp (1) being aligned with respect to the reflector (10). The cap (5) of the lamp (1) has sphere discs and/or V-shaped grooves as reference means (7) around an axis (3) of its lamp vessel (2), with respect to which the electric element (4) is aligned. The reflector (10) has about an opening (12) for inserting the lamp (1) V-shaped grooves and/or spherical discs as the alignment means (13), cooperating with the reference means of the lamp cap (5). The reference means (7) and the alignment means (13) allow for an easy, fast and reliable mounting of the lamp (1) in the reflector (10), the electric element (4) occupying a predetermined position therein.
Abstract:
An electrical discharge lamp (1) contains a light rod (8) supported at its opposite ends by a terminal connection (9) and a retainer (35). The retainer (35) is a push fit inside a well (22) of triangular cross-section whose three corners respectively receive three springy members (37, 38, 39) provided on the retainer to fix its angular position and thus the angular position of a traverse wire (36) electrically connecting the end of the rod (8) remote from the connection (9) to the connection. The connection is provided with two concentrically arranged sleeves (14, 15) of which the outermost sleeve is externally screw threaded and can be stiffly rotated without axial movement with respect to the inner sleeve in order to allow the lamp envelope to be turned to a desired angular position without interrupting the electrical and mechanical connection between the lamp and a lamp socket into which the terminal connection is screwed.
Abstract:
An electrodeless low-pressure discharge lamp according to the invention is provided with a lamp vessel (10) which is closed in a gastight manner and which has an ionizable filling. The lamp vessel has an end portion (12) with a cavity (11) in which an electric coil (20) is accommodated. The cavity further contains a heat conductor (30) which extends to outside the cavity and has a flange (31) there with an axis (32), a circumference (33), a surface (34) which faces away from the lamp vessel and a surface (35) which faces the lamp vessel. A mounting member (40) is connected to the lamp vessel and fastened against the flange (31). The mounting member (40) is provided with at least one hook (41a) which points radially inwards and which cooperates with a recess (36a) in the surface (34) of the flange (31) which faces away from the lamp vessel. The recess issues into an axial groove (37a) at the circumference (33) of the flange (31) extending into the surface (35) facing the lamp vessel. This construction renders possible a quick assembly of the mounting member (40) with the flange (31).
Abstract:
An electric lamp according to the invention comprises a lamp vessel (10) which is closed in a gas-tight manner, which has an end portion (11), and which surrounds a light source (12). The lamp vessel supports a cylindrical collar (30) with an axis (31) at its end portion (11). One or several projections (33a, 33b, 33c) of a first coupling member (30) which each grips into a respective recess (41a, 41c) of a second coupling member (40) couple the collar (30) to a mounting member (40) for fastening the lamp to a carrier. At least one of the coupling members (30) is made of an elastic material. The second coupling member (40) has two or more axial zones (43, 43'), each with at least one recess (41a, 41b, 41c; 41a', 41b, 41c') and a raised step (42a, 42b, 42c; 42a', 42b', 42c') which bounds the recess in tangential direction, while a raised step (42a, 42b, 42c) of an axial zone (43) also forms part of an axial boundary of a recess (41a', 41c') of an adjoining axial zone (43') each time, and the raised steps and the one or several projections (33a, 33b, 33c) have mutually self-locating shapes in at least one tangential direction. The construction of the lamp according to the invention renders it possible to remove the lamp vessel from the mounting member without the use of a tool, but counteracts an inadvertent removal.
