The invention relates to electrochemical electrodes containing branched nanostructures having increased surface area and flexibility. These branched nanostructures allow for higher anode density, resulting in the creation of smaller, longer-lasting, more efficient batteries which require less area for the same charging capacity. Also disclosed are methods for creating said branched nanostructures and electrodes.

A multi-band built-in antenna of a portable terminal is provided. The antenna includes a first antenna radiator on a front surface of a substrate (e.g., a main board), and a second antenna radiator on an opposite surface of the substrate. The substrate has ground surfaces on both sides separated from a non-ground area on which the radiators are disposed. The first radiator may be in the form of a Planar Inverted F Antenna (PIFA), with a first end branched off into two parts, one part used for power feeding and the other part electrically coupled to the ground surface. The first radiator has a portion that extends from the first end to an opposite end. The second radiator is continuous from the opposite end of the first radiator through a via (hole) in the main board.

A golf bag for preventing golf clubs from being misplaced and/or the heads of the golf clubs from being damaged is provided. The golf bag includes a body which can store golf clubs inside and which has a number attachment and detachment areas so that one or more golf club number tags can be attached and detached, multiple golf club number tags that are marked with golf club numbers that can be attached to and detached from the number tag attachment and detachment area, multiple club head covers that cover golf club heads and multiple head cover connectors to connect the golf club number tags to the club head covers. By enabling number tags to be attached to and detached from the golf clubs stored in the golf bag and by connecting the golf club number tags and club head covers, the golf bag can prevent golf clubs from being misplaced as well as protects golf club heads

In a flat panel display and a method of fabricating the same, the flat panel display includes a substrate having a pixel region and alignment mark regions. The alignment mark regions are disposed at opposite sides of the pixel region and along the pixel region. A unit pixel array is arranged on the pixel region in a matrix manner. The alignment mark regions have at least one pair of alignment marks disposed thereon in an opposing manner. The alignment mark pairs are located in correspondence with respective columns of the unit pixel array.

There are provided a plate welding-type anchor channel that is buried when concrete is poured at the time of constructing a building to fix various external installations to a concrete structure later, and a method for the same. The anchor channel includes a stem plate (40) and an anchor head plate (50) that are coupled to be fixed, and can further improved anchorage performance as compared to the related art and to easily produce products of various standards. As a configuration of the plate welding-type anchor channel, a lower end (42) of the stem plate (40) of an anchor (30) is coupled to a top surface (24) of a channel (20) through welding to have a length (L1) in a direction perpendicular to the top surface (24) of the channel (20). Further, the anchor head plate (50) has a predetermined length (L2) and width (w2), and an upper end (44) of the stem plate (40) is coupled to a bottom surface (52) through welding to be perpendicular to a length (L1) direction of the stem plate (40).

Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for acquiring 3D depth information. The apparatus includes a pattern projection unit, an image acquisition unit, and an operation unit. The pattern projection unit projects light, radiated by an infrared light source, into a space in a form of a pattern. The image acquisition unit acquires an image corresponding to the pattern using at least one camera. The operation unit extracts a pattern from the image, analyzes results of the extraction, and calculates information about a 3D distance between objects existing in the space.
Abstract:
A method for preventing or treating a cancer includes administering an anti-cancer pharmaceutical composition including an interferon alpha or a polymer conjugate thereof. The pharmaceutical composition can be co-administered with anti-cancer agents. The interferon alpha conjugate shows a longer in vivo half-life and a more excellent anti-cancer activity than the conventional interferon alpha, and in particular, its co-administration with an anti-cancer agent such as gemcitabine has synergistic inhibitory effects on cancer cell growth and proliferation so as to exhibit a remarkably excellent anti-cancer activity. Further, the anti-cancer pharmaceutical composition has excellent in vivo half-life and anti-cancer activity to greatly reduce administration frequency. Co-administration of an anti-cancer agent and the interferon alpha conjugate having excellent anti-cancer activity reduces administration dose of anti-cancer agent so as to reduce side effects of anti-cancer agent and increase treatment compliance of patient.

A laser irradiation device and a method of fabricating an organic light emitting display device (OLED) using the same are disclosed. The laser irradiation device includes: a laser source generating a laser beam; a mask disposed below the laser source and patterning the beam and a projection lens disposed below the mask and determining magnification of the laser beam through the mask, wherein the laser beam penetrating the mask has different doses in at least two regions. Thus, the laser irradiation device can maximize emission efficiency and enhance the quality of a transfer layer pattern when an organic layer of the OLED is formed using the laser irradiation device.

An apparatus and a method of realizing an antenna matching in accordance with a user's body effect and a state of a mobile device are provided. The method includes determining a state of the mobile device on a basis of a call mode and at least one of whether an external device is connected to the mobile device, whether a receiver is being used, whether a speaker is being used, and whether a proximity sensor is activated, determining an optimal Tunable Matching Network (TMN) circuit adjustment value in accordance with the determined state, and performing the antenna matching in accordance with the optimal TMN circuit adjustment value.
