Abstract: A hearing device, e.g. a hearing aid, comprises a) an input unit comprising a multitude of input transducers for providing respective electric input signals representing sound in an environment of the user; b) an output unit comprising an output transducer for providing stimuli perceivable to the user as sound based on said electric input signals or a processed version thereof; c) a spatial filter connected to said input unit and to said output unit, and configured to provide a spatially filtered signal based on said multitude of electric input signals and configurable beamformer weights; d) a spatial filter controller configured to apply first and/or second different sets of beamformer weights to said multitude of electric input signals, wherein said first set of beamformer weights is applied to provide spatial filtering of sound from said output transducer, and wherein said second set of beamformer weights is applied to provide spatial filtering of an external sound field. A method of operating a hearing device is further disclosed.

Abstract: A hearing device configured to be worn at an ear of a user, where the hearing device comprising an antenna unit. The antenna unit comprises an active unit being connected to a ground unit by a feeder unit, the active unit includes an active surface, and a shield unit having a continuous surface, where a first section of the continuous surface may be arranged adjacent to the active surface. Furthermore, the active surface may be configured to transmit an electric field in a direction along or perpendicular to an ear-to-ear axis of the user when the hearing device may be worn in its operational position by the user, whereby the electric field may be coupled by a capacitive coupling towards the first section generating an electromagnetic near field, and where the shield unit may be configured to focus the electromagnetic near field inside the hearing device.

Abstract: The disclosure presents a method and a hearing aid with an improved method for updating a discharge charging profile of a battery. The method comprises following steps; receiving during a first discharge step of the plurality of discharge steps a first primary battery voltage from a voltage monitor unit, receiving during the first discharge step a first primary charge from a charge monitor unit or a storing unit, determining a first secondary charge, where the first secondary charge is one or more discharge steps lower than the first primary charge, determining a first secondary battery voltage difference to be equal to a secondary battery voltage difference of a plurality of secondary battery voltage differences relative to the first secondary charge, wherein the plurality of secondary battery voltage differences is stored in the storing unit, determining a first secondary battery voltage to be equal to a secondary battery voltage of the plurality of secondary battery voltages relative to the first secondary charge, determining a first primary battery voltage difference between the first secondary battery voltage and the first primary battery voltage, determining a new battery voltage difference based on a first weight of the first primary battery voltage difference and a second weight of the first secondary battery voltage difference, and updating the discharge battery profile with the new battery voltage difference.

Abstract: A hearing aid device comprising a behind-the-ear part, an at-the-head part, a coupling element, a second antenna, and a wireless interface is disclosed. The behind-the-ear part is adapted for being arranged at an ear of a user and for providing a low frequency signal comprising audio. The at-the-head part is adapted for being arranged at the head of the user. The at-the-head part includes a first antenna adapted to communicate with an implant part comprising at least one cochlear electrode adapted for being arranged in the cochlea in proximity of an auditory nerve of the user. The coupling element couples the behind-the-ear part and the at-the-head part and is adapted for transmitting the low frequency signal comprising audio to the at-the-head part. The second antenna is adapted for communicating at high frequency with an external unit. The wireless interface is adapted for receiving and/or sending data via the second antenna. The at-the-head part is adapted for providing the low frequency signal comprising audio to the at least one cochlear electrode. The at least one cochlear electrode is adapted for converting the low frequency signal comprising audio to an output signal perceivable by a user as sound. The coupling element comprises an electrically conducting element coupled to the wireless interface. The electrically conducting element is at least a part of the second antenna and adapted for transferring the signal comprising audio at a low frequency from the behind-the-ear part to the at-the-head part and for transmitting and/or receiving high frequency signals via the second antenna.
